They have the monopoly. Older audiences that don't know about watching online or don't want to do anything illegal will tune in no matter what. It's a necessary evil.
Stringer will be ****ing himself into a frenzy over what's happened, especially with Pearsons lad involved
I genuinely believe they wanted Leicester to go down. Us being in the Prem means we can watch all of our games on a stream which puts their rating right down the drain. If we did go down then we either have to listen to the radio or just keep up with the scores for the games we can't make
Haha i cannot wait to hear it when Stringer asks Nige about his sons involvement in the sex scandal. Oh the awkwardness! Radio gold!
Last I heard Pearson was refusing to allow Stringer to interview him, and the BBC refused to put anyone else forward to speak to him.
Nice little earner finishing 14th. League table for prize money from the link. Must add the warning that Daily Mail may ruin your health http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...prize-money-Premier-League-title-success.html
Didn't actually realise the pay-out system was so fair. we only earnted a bit under £17m less than Chelsea. Obviously they make ****loads more in merch, advertising, etc, but at least the league payout is fair. EDIT: Also noticed, following on from that "boring" league I posted the other day, that the midlands clubs were all among the least shown on TV. Leicester had the tie fewest games (8), with Stoke (9) and West Brom (10) getting fewer televised games than newly promoted/relegated QPR (11), with "big club" Villa getting the same as QPR. All four were in the "bottom half", with nearly relegated Newcastle getting an incredible 20 games shown.
Theirs pictures on twitter of Cardiff defender Sean Morrison having a **** in the street Are all footballers brain dead?
Just saw the article on BBC Sport about discrimination against disabled supporters by Premiership clubs. Have to say that LCFC have been brilliant to us this season. My wife had her ankle joint replaced which meant that she struggled with stairs. They changed our season tickets and gave us a couple of seats right at the very front of the Kop. Not only that, we were escorted to our seats virtually every game by a steward. My wife was given a LCFC logo blanket and there was a nominated steward who made sure that all disabled people and their carers were OK. Couldnt have asked for more.
Tom Cleverly has gone to Everton & not, as I thought, Villa. Benteke looks set to leave so I´m thinking they could be one team with Sunderland & the promoted teams, to struggle this season. I said this last season & I´ll repeat it this, there are about 8 teams that aren´t (on paper) as strong as we are right now. I´m sure we´ll have a good summer in the transfer market, it´s started well with Fuchs, so we will, hopefully, be stronger next season. Aim for between 14th & 10th or am I getting abit to carried away ?
In other transfer news, Ings has jumped ship to Liverpool. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33046003 They must be kicking themselves for not selling him 12 months ago. Would have given Dyche a few pound notes to spend.
Wow, only £11m! Sign him up Nige! See him working out great at Arsenal though with their midfield, they may actually challenge if this goes through.
Barca buy Aleix Vidal for 16 million, I thought they had a transfer ban ? That´s a joke then. See how many teams get around this FFP thing next season.
They are banned from signing players in 2015 - he will be joining Barca in Jan 2016. Dunno what he'll be doing until then though - we should ask for a half season loan for a laugh.
Robert Lewandowski scores a hat trick in 4 mins for Poland (89, 91 & 93) Got to be an international record ain´t it ? I bet those that left early are kicking themselves.
