Appears that Alex agreed and signed his deal last December whilst Rosie and Macca held. Back.

With Chester Dawson and Maguire and Alex as cover it ain't so bad.

I expect us to allow Davies to go if anyone offers a fair price for him.

Burnley in need of defenders so Macca could end up there.

Still sad news mind,,, if true.

Not according the the Hull Daily Mail in February 2015. All contracts were on hold until our league position was clarified. They specifically mentioned Alex Bruce's contract being on hold.

What were we doing giving AB a 3 year deal anyway? I appreciate he gives his all, but if we'd stayed up, he'd probably never have played for us again.

I believe the issue is that you often say something - and everyone knows what you mean. But then, if someone finds fault, you'll claim your words dont actually mean what you said at the time. It's like a bloke constantly using innuendo and then claiming he meant everything literally with no other meaning.

"I actually said this <insert quote> which technically means i'm right as usual - if you ignore everything else".

It wouldnt be so bad but you don't ever leave it either - you'll hammer home 'I'M RIGHT I'M RIGHT' until everyone else has died of old age.

Apparently.

I believe the issue is people read what I say, ignore the actual words I use and instead try and guess what I mean and then they're quite often wrong. I'm pretty sure I'm the one who knows what I mean, unless you're blessed with a ****ing good telepathic skill.

I have never, once gone back and changed the words I used. FACT. That's the point of a written messageboard, I'm held accountable and it's always without exception backed-up. And as for hammering the point home, I can only keep doing it if somebody replies. It takes 2 people to have a back and forth, I'm not replying to myself.

I had a good back and forth with Polly yesterday (ooooh missus).
We sorted it out.
Life is too short for petty squabbles on a message board.

I honestly think people see my name next to a post and then pick it pieces cos it's me. That might sound egotistical but other people have said EXACTLY the same as me on this very thread and nobody batted an eyelid.

Have you ever gone back and removed a comma or separated two words?

What do the initials F.A.C.T. stand for? Is this an example of an acronym?

It seems they were mistaken.

So was his Dad, Steve Bruce, when he told the HDM. I've added bold to Alex's name:

"It's fair to say we will be turning our attention to that now the transfer window has gone.
"We're not in any great rush. Let's hope we're offering up Premier League contracts but it's difficult at the minute.
"We've been talking with a number of players. There's no deals set in stone yet.
"We've been talking with Quinny, to Liam and to Alex and I would think summer is going to be a busy time in particular. Then we've got a number of players who are out of contract in 2016."

Just a little economical with the truth...
