Rick Skelton and that Tim Derrick appear on RH sportstalk programme. There views are Always good for a laugh especially Tim's.
He writes well, but saying that Robertson has 'regressed' since he made his debut for us is not right at all, if anything he has learnt massively from his first season in the Premier League and also with Scotland. There must be good reasons why Bruce left him out recently if that's the 'regression' that he is on about, maybe fatigue, injuries or loss of form in training.
He was also British based. Tickles has a point, the players we've signed from abroad have generally been ****e, we've spunked a fortune on the likes of Prozzy, Hernandez and Sagbo.
I do understand what you mean, but I suppose it is down to how you measure success. For Hull City AFC success would be a third term and/or a higher finish and so on as we progress, until a top 8 and then top 5 finish is feasible. It's called ambition and should be what drives us.
