According to the papers Rafa Benitez has got a really tough decision to make. Real Madrid or West Ham. What to do, what to do? I'm glad it's him not me, I mean it's impossible to decide.
Yes, it must be very difficult for him to decide who's fans he would rather be abused by next season.
Looks like Fat Sam was sacked via the Spam's official website. At half-time. please log in to view this image He claims to have jumped before he was pushed though, as he wants to spend more time with his family. Yeah, alright Sam. Of course. We believe you. Current favourite to take the poisoned chalice? Slaven Bilic. He's West Ham through and through. Even when he ****ed off to join Everton.
He doesn't claim to have jumped before he was pushed, he says he wouldn't have stayed if he had been offered a new contract. I wouldn't want him anywhere near the lane as our Boss, but otherwise, I have a lot of time for him.
Because I think he's a good manager with a good record. He plays the percentage game more effectively than many others, and whilst his style isn't always pretty, it does get results.
Do West Ham think he underachieved? Good luck to the next manager. The pre-season tour should be to Lourdes.
I had to run and check the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st when I saw this!... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...get-Carlo-Ancelotti-as-their-new-manager.html
He's very good at picking up points in the first half of the season and ensuring safety for whatever club he's at. He doesn't seem to really kick on from there, though. I guess Charlton got shot of Curbishley for similar reasons. Didn't work out well. Slaven Bilic has resigned as the Besiktas coach. I suspect that 1+1 is actually 2.
"I had to run and check the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st when I saw this!..." You beat me to it. What can you say to the Spanners ?? To dare is to do ??
Well done to Norwich City, good to see a decent well run football club back in the PL. I am sure there will be a few sherries downed in Delia's house tonight.
I wonder if Snoop Dogg's been invited? please log in to view this image It's probably Snoop Canary now, if his reggae album's anything to go by.
The summer sacking spree has started. Nigel Clough leaves Sheffield United and now Steve MacClaren is removed from Derby.
How quickly things change in football, Schteve was a much in demand manager a few short months ago. Wonder if Newcastle will still go for him. Well done, Norwich, and especially well done to Alex Neil who has done a brilliant job turning around their season. Hope he does better in the Prem than Irvine did. Oh and also well done to Madagascar for pulling off a huge upset beating Ghana, losing me £120 on my Norwich/Roma/Ghana treble
To no ones's great surprise, Ancelotti given the sack. The Spammers had better make their move, I'm sure he'll be impressed!
He says he's going to have to take a year off because of back surgery. We'll see, but I bet Liverpool are watching his situation very closely.
