I have been really impressed with him recently. I think the confidence he has gained in the premiership is going to make him really standout next year.

He will stand out, but for which club? he would be one we could sell for a profit as we got him for almost nothing. except as far as i know his contract expires in Aug and he can walk away for nowt. Should have got him signed up long ago.

One of a few that we desperately need to get signed up. We've got the core of a top Championship squad but half of them don't have contracts.

Funniy, I think the exact opposite. I felt like he was the least Premiership player we had. Incredibly weak on the ball and very little end product. A different proposal in the championship of course and we should keep him but he's so far away from premier league standard in my opinion.

I think we will struggle to finish mid table
I think the intensity will catch us on the hop next season

I'd like to hear more about your definition of 'Weak on the ball' in relation to Quinn? For me he seldom gives the ball away, always available to receive the ball. Great player.

Weak as in
lacking the power to perform physically demanding tasks;

He seems decent when he receives the ball but a good old fashion shoulder to shoulder and he almost loses it every time and I've not seen him get passed other players much.

I don't mean weak as in he can't control the ball.

He has a low centre of gravity so he's quite agile but he gets ruffled up quite easily.

I'm not criticising him, I was just surprised to read the original post. He's done very little mistakes and looks like one of the nicer blokes on the team but the end product has been slight, he really doesn't look good enough for the physicality of the prem for me.

Bruce pissed off both Quinn and Macca - neither of them are under contract - criminal really - surprised if either of them will stick around if Brucie stays

I'm with you wade although in his defence he always wants the ball unlike some. Not a premier league player imo, decent at championship

He's plenty good enough. He's been one of the few bright sparks of late. I'm surprised you can find fault with him In all honesty. Physicality is a word you whisper quietly in the PL - Unless you are Fellaini. The PL is almost a non contact sport - Arsenal have built a team around small non physical midfielders - it doesn't affect them too much!

I think Quinn will sign a new deal. Depending how the manager wants to play he's already pretty much guaranteed a place in the first team after Livermores sacking.
