The way David Burns was talking on RH,about McShane having played his last game for city, sounded like he had some inside knowledge of what's going on with him.

Well that would suck.

As its McShane I will state emphatically that Burnsy should stick to conversations about pies its what he knows best (he could be right, but screw that).

Goalkeeper will be a problem but the back line certainly isn't.
It would make Bruce's job a bit easier if the defence stays as it is, McShane and Rosenoir to get a new deal with only Davies been sold and Macguire moved up in his place with Chester waiting until January to look at his options. Figueroa and Dudgeon to move on with Lenighan and Townsend waiting for their chances.

He was talking about Macca and he just stated that he feared that we had seen macca in a city shirt for the last time today, he sounded like he had some knowledge as to what was going on with Macca

McShane refused to sign a contract earlier in the season. If he wanted to stay he would have signed it.

McGregor
Elmohamady NEW CB Dawson NEW LB
NEW RM Huddlestone Meyler Snodgrass
Aluko NEW ST
I can see Jelavic (5m), N'Doye (3m), Brady (4m), Chester (6m) and Robertson (8m) leaving you.

You'd come straight back up with that team I reckon. But I do think that the loser of tomorrow's play-off final will walk the league. I don't think it's been as poor as it will be next season for a long while. It's an excellent opportunity for you to regroup and come back stronger.
What could be your saving grace is that you've got a lot of talent who won't be in that much demand because of a poor season. One confidence boosting Championship season could do you the world of good.

If someone offered 3m for N'Doye I'd drive him there myself.

Have a feeling he would have gone even if we survived, think the bust up with SB after the Burnley away game made his mind up.

There are hints of unhappiness in Roy Keane's book Second Half. I don't think its a coincidence that the Irish lads seemed to start playing more regularly once Mike Phelan arrived.

What's Roy Keane's 2nd half? Would hate Quinn to leave even more than Macca.

Quinn works hard and makes the team tick.

Even if we lose all of the more promising players such as Brady/Chester etc. we'd still be left with this team:

McGregor

Rosie-Dawson-Maguire-NEW

Meyler-Diame-Quinn

Snodgrass-NEW-Ince

As I think we won't even lose that many of the squad so our team will be even better than that one, we will be fine. If we kept Brady and Jela to fill those gaps for instance we'd have a fantastic team.

Quinn is out of contract. He can sign with whoever he wants.

the trouble is the lack of pace at the back with Dawson and Maguire

Whoever gets a bid for them goes. It better be Huddlestone cos that lazy overweight ****ing fanny shouldnt be at my club any longer.

Whoever our chief scout is gets the ****ing sack. Ye the one who scouted Hernandez. Cos from my TV screen I signed Troy ****ing Deeney and would have made this club how much by staying in this league!!!

Diame get rid, injury prone too much of a luxury in the Championship. Keeping Brady and Elmo is massive to try and send us back up next year. I'd do everything I could to keep Jela and if he doesn't stay N'Doye.

His second autobiography.
When did it come out?

If it was 6 months or so ago, meaning it was wrote before then - how would he know McShane and Quinn would leave? Maybe that was when Long left and they were maybe upset about him going?

Thank god City fans on their PCs are assuming what is going to happen next year with the squad. Thought we were screwed!

Our best buys have been the Brits coming from the British leagues ( except Thudd and Livermore ), so credit where its due for that. Our foreigners have been absolute ****, Jelly one exception ( there may be more ) but he was already playing here.

Nothing to do with Long leaving. You should have a read. When I read it I understood why McShane refused to sign a new contract.
