Personally I think Sterling is an ungrateful little ****. Barnes is right, he has achieved **** all, and to be quite frank, he's not as good as most people, including that monkey of an agent licking his hoop clean, thinks.

Wow, he linked up with Suarez well... Shock horror. A piece of rotting rhubarb would have got about 3 assists last season on the basis that if you placed it's fermenting arse on the centre circle, on average at least a few passes would be deflected off it and into the path of Luis, who, let's be honest, was just ridiculous last year. And by ridiculous, I mean, better to watch than Messi and Ronaldo.

Now, he's back to being a young version of Aaron Lennon, SWP, Theo Walcott etc etc etc etc etc... Except now apparently a bit of pace and couple of goals means a 50 million price tag.

I hope, with all my heart, that either of the following happens:

1. Sterling's whinging baby attitude is crushed, as Liverpool tell him he'll be training with the kids, if that's how he wants to act, and won't play an actual game until his contract runs out in 2017, and the smelly bastard rocks up at Chelsea or Citeh sporting an extra few stone.
2. Liverpool sell the ****head, get loads of dosh, he gets stuck on the bench getting fat somewhere, while Liverpool win some trophies.

The boy is a ****. He sure as hell didn't look deadly serious about winning trophies when he was inhaling laughing gas, ****ing off to Jamaica, and getting pissed up in nightclubs at 3am!

No sitting on the fence... tell us what you really think

<ok>

And to think, a lot of you guys were complaining when it was rumoured Brod was interested in him <doh>

Cos he's pants. Mad peoven by Lovren, playing well in the Southampton defence is a price of piss, doesn't make you a good player <whistle>

For Tobes and PJS

Just talking to a bs season ticket holder there and he says the worst kept secret in Liverpool at the minute is Coleman to Chelsea and Barkley to Liverpool.

Supposedly all Barkleys family are reds except his mother and it's on for a summer move to the reds if Man city aren't interested

Like my family. My dad was convinced we had another mother....

He's certainly no Jamie Carragher ;)

Don't think it's feasible for us to let a player rot in the reserves as much as we'd like to.

1) Effect on the other players and potential signings
2) Effect of the Webster ruling

Effect on the other players.............That`ll teach the little **** he is not too good to play with us
Webster ruling............Ibe is a better winger, Coutinho is a better No10, you already have recognised strikers (Sterling is not one). Who is to say a player should be picked ahead of a better one?

Fans think that way... players won't.

Ibe isn't better yet and we have one decent striker who never plays <laugh> and what's that to do with the Webster ruling?

If we lock Sterling out entirely he'll just buy his contract out as soon as he can...

Can't see that happening tbh - FSG are too focused on the bottom line to let a valuable asset sit on the shelf just to make a point.

I can definitely see that happening (well, the first part at least ;)). Tbh I don't think Sterling has the attitude to make it at Liverpool or away from them. He's looking like becoming the next David Bentley, I reckon you'd do better to get shot of him and bank some cash rather than hanging on until it all blows up.

The little toerag has opened a can of worms which has left the club open to ridicule by the many haters and critics we have in the tabloid press, and what does Rodgers do in his earlier press conference?
He again kisses the little ****s arse by praising his talents and telling us he's fit for Sunday(ie he's playing), he also said he wants/expects the prick to see out the remaining two years of his contract.

Rodgers needs to grow a backbone regarding Sterling, so he might be a promising talent and he might be what Rodgers regards as his protégé but he's humiliated the manager as well as the club and should be punished and dropped not cosseted like some kind of superstar.

True, but we won't get decent money if the world and its wife know we want rid of him.

Pretend like he has a future and it means teams will have to pay going rate and not discounted one

Or on the other hand open yourself to similar acts of mutiny by other players because you look weak and unable to show the upper hand in the situation.

While I understand your point I don't think he's been treated with the contempt he deserves by the club.
And Wenger needs to keep his nose out.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ws-Arsene-Wenger-defends-Raheem-Sterling.html

According to him Sterling is blameless and its all his agents fault, he seems to know a lot about the situation, will he get done for tapping up if Sterling signs for Arsenal.

What if we shock all and sundry this summer and actually sign some decent players meaning we push on and not only gain top four but manage to somehow win something? Would Sterling then sign a new deal (presuming he's contributed to that achievement) for less than the £100k he says he never wanted? Would fans accept such a u-turn?

I expect him to be sold this summer but we all know how ****ed up our club can be <laugh>

The owners would need a complete change of our wage structure, in the table of average wages in world sport a couple of days ago us and the Red Sox were on almost identical figures, I think they try and run us along the lines of their baseball club, they chose modernisation ahead of a new build stadium for Boston and LFC.

Trying to keep him sweet for whe he puts an offer in

No... I honestly couldn't see him staying. I think relationships have been strained and it bridges already burnt that he'll be on his way either this summer or next.

The he fact his agent has said those things suggest that he probably wouldn't even want to sit down with us and sterling is too weak to stand up to his agent and tell him so to what's best for him not the agent.

There's no doubt his agent has been touting the prick to clubs while he's still under contract and without the clubs permission, if it comes out in the dirty washing his agent should lose his licence and the buying club done for tapping up.

But it won't happen.<laugh>
