Shirt seller <ok>

Seriously though, we have just bought a young lad who seems to have an end product (20 league goals this season), so why would we want Sterling.

Have you seen Sterling's finishing? Thirty goals is better than twenty <whistle>

Very interesting comments out of Thierry Henry.

I suppose sterling will now way he's been bullied into going to arsenal or to sack his agent.

Henry talked about how when he was at Monaco he made exactly the same mistake according to him and nearly ruined himself.

Honestly sterling needs to go now but ideally we should sell to someone where he will be ruined just to spite him.

If real bid I can see him at palace in two years after being booed out of it constantly

Lunchtime bevvies are from the [HASHTAG]#darkages[/HASHTAG] mate.

We used to do it all the time back in the day, but would virtually never have a pint on a lunch out these days, as it's simply no longer socially acceptable.

Remember Friday lunchtimes down the alehouse when all the lads had their pay packets in cash? The young un's wouldn't believe you if you told them what we used to do back then ffs.

Nah. Not having any of that.

So on transfers is there anyone willing to give Coates and Illori a chance? I have watched Sunderland's last 3 games and Coates has been immense especially his reading of the game. Advocaat has been complimentary of his form but I do not know if Rodgers fancies the lad.

I am just thinking what is the point of signing all these young players if there is never any intention of playing them? We spanked 20 mill on Lovern and I am sitting thinking these two defenders may have done a better job.

Fixed that for you buddy <ok>

Why I would like the club to buy British players, it's not going to work if they are not good enough or other club are
of the opinion that foreign players are better. Pointless buying British players if you are not going to play them.

Coates is about to enter the last year of his contract, so you'll defo shunt him out this summer imo.

Think Coates is talented - never really been given a good run in the side.

The only issue is that he is painfully slow - his reading of the game has to be top notch to compensate. I would certainly keep him - think he would be very good in a back 3.

Hyypia was never quick but he was one of our best CBs over the last twenty years.
