Crooks only mentioned Clyne. Jason Mohammad put Clyne, Bertrand and Pelle to him as suggestions as to who he (Crooks) thought might leave, and he only mentioned Clyne in his answer.

Yes, all of that conversation - Crooks said that Utd would be mad to not sign Clyne. Sutton, as you say, said that Mane would be courted by bigger clubs. Pearce gave no names, though did say that Mohammad was wrong to call last summer 'a fire sale' due to the prices we got for the players. All three of them praised our season and our academy. Sutton also praised the job will did in keeping hold of Morgan last summer.
 
As said before:

Rodriguez - staying
Clyne - will stay
Mane - obviously staying
Koeman - obviously staying
Schneiderlin - I honestly think will depend on Clyne signing. I think if he signs then we stand a good chance of keeping Morgan

The only way we keep Morgan is if a big club doesn't bid for him.

Stand by your man Fran, other than Chelsea I don't think he would look out of place in any other defence in the premier league.
This maybe feint praise as we're not in a classic era for central defenders, but think pundits are kidding themselves over who plays for Man Utd.
 
Bertrand...signed a new contract this season
Pelle...came because of Koeman, only been here one season. Can't see a problem unless he can't settle in England.
Mane...settling in nicely and seems happy.
Clyne...jury's out, but more hopeful now.
Wanyama...have some concerns as he has been sounding off.
Morgan...we are resigned, so would be the cat's pyjamas if he stayed.


What the pundits have failed to notice is that most clubs are not better than us, so why wouldn't players stay where they are happy. It's not as if they will never get a move if they don't go now.
 
Pundits are pundits for a reason,they only shout their mouths off because they feel they have something important to say that the mear mortals need to hear........f*** em we don't need to about anything they have to say,remember we were certain/guaranteed relegation fodder after last season........
