It's a bit like someone who has been banned by the RSPCA from keeping pets getting to decide who has his animals.
<laugh>

I can't imagine these 'buyers' are impressed at being dismissed as not good enough, especially as they must have demonstrated they have adequate funds and made a serious bid...pretty soon, even his imaginary friends will disown him.

I was told by someone who was close to the club last year that there had been enquiries, but mostly by agents who said they had someone interested but were not willing to divulge names at that time. Allam apparently refused to deal with the agents as he did not want to pay their fees. This could be the same scenario.

So if these interested parties didn't divulge their identities, how did Allam know they were a "bad home"? Anyway, I wouldn't tell him my name either, he'd only try changing the bastard.

One of the worst things about this name change farce is the fact that it's become apparent that I support the same club as such simpering, spineless ****s as happy tiger, sunbeam-tiger and 'smartarse' who are quite willing to bend over so Allam can **** them up the arse for a few pieces of premier league silver while he pursues his baseless vendetta against the council.

All three of you are evidently so weak, so easily manipulated, cowering down obediently to someone with a bit of money and status, meekly accepting whatever he forces upon you regardless of how ridiculous it is.

The name of the club is Hull City. How about you Allam acolytes justify the club name being butchered. Why do it? What possible benefit is there?

The only reason you can give is that you think Allam will stay if the FA choose madness and approves the change. His scaremongering has controlled you, you've bought the lies.

Allam despises you just as he despises all Hull City fans. He wants out of the club ASAP and will be gone as soon as he stumbles on an exit strategy that saves face so that he can say "he never changes his mind".

Logic and reason have long since gone out of the window. Spite and anger are the driving forces.

Sit there and pick WUM arguments with fellow fans on here, but a few years down the line when Allam has gone, you three will rightly be embarrassed of the stance you have taken on this issue.
Wow. Good work posting that with CTWDs cock in your mouth.

You're obviously a well trained bitch.

If there're arguments, perhaps that's because not everyone sees it the same way?

Even disliking his comments and actions can have different connotations. Pure wums aside, it generally takes two to argue. One side has as much right as the other to a view, it's often the tone of a response that generates it into an argument.

I may not like some views, but there's still things to be gained from hearing and considering them.
They're not valid opinions though are they? As none of us in this board are marketing experts we have to listen to those said experts, so when they discredit his idea and say it wouldn't work you have to take that on board as they know more about it than we do, so to continue to say he should be given a chance to try it is just pure stupidity. If someone had an opinion that you could breathe on the moon without a spacesuit would that be a valid opinion that you would have to respect or would it be stupidity?

I don't think many are claiming that, and that alone. I reckon with a bit of a Google, you'd find plenty of occasions where the marketing people got it wrong. I posted 14 for Richard Branson alone.

It just seems anyone not calling him a ****, or looking deeper into some of the other comments made, gets a much rougher ride than some that get things wrong, but they give reason to call the Allams.

No doubt some will now say I'm an apologist, or pro-Allam, but I just prefer to hear the other sides before I make my mind up, or change it.

Allam Out is a self fulfilling prophecy anyway, he's not immortal.

Oh you graduated as a journalist already?

Well done.

You should apply for a job at the daily mail I hear they like journalists who copy other people words and pass it off as theirs.

I just wish you could produce something original or at least with some substance.

He isn't a football fan so why would he step back in the stadium if he sold up? No need to be so precious about that statement.

Sorry to disappoint but the name simply is not important to me. It can change or it can stay the same, I don't care. What I care about is my club in my city. The name would not affect how I feel about the club I've been going to since the 60s and the team I've supported since then. The name is irrelevant to me.

If he stays and if he wants to change the name that s fine with me.

If he sells and the name stays the same that is also fine with although I'd be sad we'd lost a great owner thanks to a small noisy minority who fear any change.
You say you're not bothered about the name change either way !!!

I work in marketing. I'm no renowned expert but my two penneth...

When it comes to football, with the passionate support, the community aspect and of course the history involved, the brand (the name of which is a major part of) should be reinforced as frequently as possible and as positively as possible through success on the pitch, CSR events, all sorts you can do in football to increase your brand recognition, even globally.

I can understand why Allam may have wanted to change the name, but when it has the result it has had, you'd stop in your tracks and promote your brand in other ways.

He should be pushing the club to promote what we are now, where we've come from and include as much of the traditional elements as possible. Use our City's story and our current success to invoke emotion when pushing the club as a brand.

It can all go global but it has to start at home first.

Allam couldn't be more wrong in the way he's gone about this saga.
