With so much mud (and bad eggs) being flung around in our direction, the old chancer seems to be getting off lightly. When in fact it was the woeful squad he put together that got us relegated. Jumping ship with the lame 'dodgy knees' excuse would have been laughable if it wasn't so gutless and shameful. So while Chris Ramsey has to front up and take responsibility, there's a certain chap lying low who's quietly dodged taking any flack over the last couple of days. Well, you're responsible mate. Too many over the hill signings, woefully unbalanced squad and lame tactics in those early away performances. Cheers Harry. Oh, but glad your knees have made a miraculous recovery.
HR certainly bears his fair share of the responsibility for the situation we're in. He's an old school dinosaur manager who really has nothing to offer a big club these days. Now I'm living down in Christchurch I get to see what the local press writes about HR and Bournemouth. I trust Eddie Howe has the intelligence to pay lip service to "Good Old Harry" in public and privately doesn't let him anywhere near the club again. I've no idea if he ever was any good or just lucky in the players he had to work with. If we're continuing with the Head Coach and Director of Football model I'm quite happy staying with Chris Ramsay as Head Coach.
He takes brunt of the blame. & has the audacity to say we didn't recruit enough players, fcuk me it was down to him & he brought the crap in, sold Simpson & god knows why, played players out of position, football was ****, I could go on but bored about talking about him.
His knee rode to the rescue to save him from having to publicly accept responsibility for the inevitable relegation. Should we be surprised? Just look at his track record of ducking responsibility and leaving disasters in his wake. It's no wonder Southampton fans hate him so much. Chris Ramsey's time has not gone well, but Redcrap is where the ultimate blame lies. And the Board for letting him get away with it.
To me, the blame lies squarely with TF. Full stop. He has presided over 2 relegation's in 3 years whilst we had the 8th highest wages in the PL. Absolute disgrace how he has run the club. I also blame TF for appointing Harry and Ramsey.
I don't know what to think, I do however think that Harold was left holding the reigns for too long. By the time CR was given control it was far too late.
Quite a sobering thought given are current predicament, especially when compared to MLS total salaries for 572 players from 21 clubs. ‘THE TOP 20 TEAMS IN ENGLAND PAY $2.9BN IN WAGES A YEAR. ALL OF MLS PAYS $129.5M’ On the 2014 salary list are 572 players earning total wages of just over $129.5 million. This sounds like a lot of money, and it is. But in comparison to the Premier League, for example, it is small potatoes. The MLS total includes 21 clubs (for 2014 it includes Chivas USA, since folded, and partial squads for NY City FC and Orlando City FC, both being formed). Yet their total wage bills combined equals about the same as the wage bill for Queens Park Rangers ($126 million) in 2012-13, the most recent year’s data available for QPR. http://www.sportingintelligence.com...s-a-year-the-whole-of-mls-pays-129-5m-301001/
Mate it's harry that was paid handsomely to make the footballing choices tony and co are just the money men , Harry ****ed us pure and simple
I was in the 4.55 from Piccadilly same train as the team , we was in the first class coach next to the one the team booked out , Ramsey refused to sit in that carrage and sat in ours , he looked shocked and we also earwigged him saying how disgusted he was and can't wait for a clear out ect... He looked furious
Who chose Harry? Who chose Ramsey? Who gave the ridiculous contracts? Who is the common denominator in the last 4 years? It's not Harry. It is not disrespectful to raise concerns about the organisation. This is not Kim Jong-Un's North Korea. Any healthy organisation is not above criticism.
****, that doesn't sound good for any attempt at dignity for the last two games.......which of course I am going to.
Only on away days , the only way to go . infact on the Virgin trains it only cost 15 pounds to upgrade the standard ticket , we always just buy a standard , upgrade on the train and have the carriage to your self 9 times out of 10 .
honestly mate , the atmosphere was terrible he spent hole time on blower moaning and moaning , sadly just out of earshot to get the juicy details .....
