No its true. Poch did sign Forster. The story goes he signed from Celtic in 2013 and poch was so excited he didn't want news to leak. In efforts to make his great unveiling a surprise he concealed Forster in a supply cupboard. However Poch became so preoccupied with Cortese leaving and his next move he completely forgot about Forster, stowed away. For almost a year Forster survived eating only post it notes and crumbs brought to him by a kindly family of mice he befriended.
11 months later Koeman arrives and was disappointed with the quantity of condiments at staplewood. One evening in his eternal quest for mayonnaise he tried his luck in the stationary cupboard, only to find Englands number 2, ink stained from biro consumption playing poker with some mice.

Quick link from a german site saying we're one of four EPL clubs looking to sign Dost in the summer (Stoke, Swansea and Newcastle are the others.) I cant imagine him wanting to leave but it sounds more like Wolfsburg want to replace him. I'd say we're the best option out of the four and i think he'd be great..asking price is €11m.

And Heaton please

Hope it's not true, Dost is a very limited player. He's a downgrade on Pelle

But do we want Clyne to start the season here? If he's not going to sign but only play out his contract, I think we need to cash in.
If Clynie doesn't sign a new contract then sell him. His performances in the last three months have dropped markedly, RK has suggested that the eternal rumours and no doubt there are secret negotiations going on have effected certain players and he appears to be one that has been effected.
To be honest, if he tells the club he isn't going to sign a new contract this week, I would like to see him dropped immediately and put on garden leave to prevent him influencing others and effecting morale.

Clyne doesn't strike me as the type, you never know though. Agree with selling him but gardening leave is a little harsh. So far he has not said/done anything unprofessional and you can't stop him communicating with other players.

Not helped by the fact he has to play the right side of the pitch completely on his own as we don't have a right midfielder. And teams have wised up to this

I think Ron (and indeed most people who actually work in football) are more pragmatic than fans.....Clyne is our best player in that position and will continue to play. Whatever he is thinking, he is saying the right things. He's enjoyed playing at Saints, is happy here and, like all footballers, would like to play in the CL. Nothing contentious there...unless you work in the media. I think suspending a mate for no good reason would hardly improve morale.

Well I'm all for him being here at the start l, provides he signs a new deal. I don't want to lose him for nothing when we are being offered 18M. He isn't irreplaceable, far from it.

Right, now I know people have shot me down before for suggesting him as a target, but it's being said that Scott Sinclair could be available for as little as £2.5m, surely at 26 and with our record of improving English players, he's well worth a punt? Done really well for Swansea in this league and I'd be up for giving him a go - definitely say more so than Elia.

If he had the right attitude, then yes he has talent. That is an if about this big though:

IF

Yes it is a big IF, but he's probably fed up now of being at City now, (ala Bertrand with Chelski) hence his loan move to Villa, we're not really privy to what his attitude is like these days, but at that price, I'd like to think we would at least entertain the idea, particuarly if we're in Europe.

Personally, there are much better options out there who we could get.
