Yep. Tom also deserves all the criticism he gets, but it must be the manager that insists on him sitting so deep. A position where he has next to zero influence on our attacking play. He might as well play a sweeper role in the middle of the back three if you insist he plays there. You could drive a death star through the gap between our midfield and attack.
£42.6m (OK, minus the fees for Long and Boyd) and what did we get? The same creativity problems we had last season, absolutely no improvement there. A significantly worse attack. A load of wingers we never intended to actually use. Three good youngsters 'for the future' who Bruce is too scared to play. An absolute disaster of a transfer window.
I agree with all of those, Bruce's spending has been dodgy to say the least but don't you think it's worrying that our style of football has not changed one bit, despite having an almost completely different starting XI? Surely that blame has to lay with Bruce. He has one way of seeing us play and buying new players hasn't changed anything. I am a bit concerned about us in the championship with him. Yes he got us promoted but he has to be able to freshen things up and change the team around. We're stale.
There was a bit of improvement from him when Meyler came on and he got a forward more but he's no Pirlo in the position that Bruce gives him, thats for sure
He did. Even an off form Huddlestone will surely still create more than we are, if he's played higher up the pitch.
On the plus side, away games are ****loads better in the Championship. We've lost Bournemouth, Watford and Millwall, if we can gain Preston or Sheff Utd alongside TWS, Wolves, Rovveram, keep Boro, Derby, Blackburn, Brum, Forest, Huddersfield, Bolton - **** most of the ****ing division. All charging £25 or less and as many tickets as we want. As someone who only goes to away games I'm looking forward to it already.
No you are the clueless one. The players have relegation clauses in their contracts. Where you asleep when Brucy said the players would have a wage cut of between 40 and 50%.
I don't see this as a good thing, most will be looking for a transfer. The ones who get away will be those who have peformed best and look like good value for money, the ones we need to keep really. Those left with us will be the overpaid high value under performers. If you thought they were bad this season how do you expect them to play next season? So the club will have to take a big loss and send a few out the door for whatever we can get for them.
Seen as i remember paying over 30 quid at Barnsley i wish people would stop making out the Championship is some ****ing paradise.
Yeah and of course they're going to be really excited about that prospect and be committed to staying aren't they? Oh wait.........
In answer to the original question I do care Regardless of what's going on I can't help but wanting City to win every game, and watching a team with so many talented players looking like they wanted to hide was dreadful I also care because I want us to stay up. All 5 of us aren't renewing, and have known that for weeks ( likely to just do away games and maybe some less fashionable, more important, home games) I would much prefer to not renew for a Premier League team, I'd hate anyone thought I'd not renewed because of relegation
Not pissed off at all. I knew we had a chance of going down but to be honest its irrelevant to me what league we are in. I support Hull City because i was born in Hull.....i always will AS LONG AS WE ARE CALLED HULL CITY I pay by direct debit so if prices go down i dare say they will just reduce payments
