knew he would. We are lucky there where 3 **** teams in the league last season. The players had given up then, but we blamed it on our fa cup run.
Bruce, like so many other occasions, got it horrendously wrong today again. Must win game at home against the worst team in the league, so he picks: 5 at the back. 2 out of form midfielders, one injured who came off at half time in the last game, and almost the same time today. Aluko up front. The formation is dire for anything other than defending and counter attacking. Our only threat came from Brady and Elmo, who for some ****ing strange reason he decided to push further back as defenders, bringing on Meyler and Jelavic, pushing N'Doye out to the wing. Then Hernandez came on and Jelavic was on the other wing. What the ****? Where were Rosey and Robertson? Not only that, Chester was hving an absolute mare, he was very uncharacteristically terrible today. So which centre half does he pull? McShane. I won't even pretend I could do his job better than him because I couldn't, just look at the time John Carver's had. But these things he keeps pissing about with are ****ing basics. Lewis Hamilton won't be rolling up on the grid tomorrow in a Land Rover.
This Hats, I'm also nowhere near deserving to comment, but come on, to drag players off one game and start then the next, no that's poor Bruce
We deserve to go down, we have done for a while. We're absolutely laughably ****e going forward. If we somehow stay up I'll be happy but we won't deserve it. The amount of **** I give about relegation is negligible compared to how much I care about the situation surrounding the ownership. Being a City fan isn't fun any more thanks to Allam. It'll be fun once again, regardless of division, whenever this situation is finally resolved.
I've been saying to people at work for weeks now that if we can't beat Burley, then we deserve to go down anyway.
If I am honest the 4 seasons I have disliked the most since supporting city were the ones we were in the PL. I want us to do the best we can and success means being promoted but it's the championship that I prefer, at least we go into every game with a real chance to win.
How pissed off are those of you who've already renewed? Paying that price to watch championship football. Wonder who Allam is going to charge us £50 to watch down there?
They need to get Brady in Aluko's role for me, and get Rosy/Robertson in Bradys spot. Mcshane might have had a knock today in Bruces defence there, didn't seem to be moving well, Chester wasn't that bad, Dawson nearly got exposed a few times for chronic lack of pace
Well after setting the season pass prices that he has it's gonna be a minimum of about £35 a game I reckon !!! Who's gonna pay that?
No, no, no. This has been the problem all season, makeshift strikers. Aluko isn't a striker and neither are Ince, Ramirez, Ben Arfa, Brady or Quinn. Bruce hasn't got the balls to play strikers and attacking midfielders so he plays midfelders up front and packs the midfield with defensive players. Then wonders why we can't score a goal.
I could watch them back when Sentanta existed before 08, then after we were relegated I could only watch maybe 4 games a season live. I would listen to the games live on tigers player and then watch the full replay that they post a few days after that. I don't know who has the rights right now to championship games in the U.S., I'll have to check it out and see if someone has them on a streaming service like they did back before 08.
I'm calling out Harper for being at fault for some of that. Lots of through balls that were his to claim every day of the week. But he never came. Also, at 0-0, it pissed me right off the way he was strolling around at goal kicks. We needed to win. Show a bit of urgency ffs. Then he started running for them when we went behind. Too late.
i don't want to see huddlestone and livermore in a city shirt ever again just drop them for the remaining 2 games.. horrific signings
Livermore's been putting in performances of a typical English midfielder. Plenty of effort But minimal footballing ability. When the chips were down, he's started hiding from the ball. He doesn't back himself and that's just not good enough.
He's a typicla English midfielder in that he's good on the ball in his own half but give it to him on the edge of the area and he falls apart. I've defended him and Tom a lot this season but the last few games they've been really ****e. The pair of them have got brilliant feet but scored and assisted a total of about 5 goals between them in 2 years.
