Grass or fingers I suppose - I had to use cigarette papers when i was working in the bush...

The invention was the toilet roll holder - but was the vexing question? :)

Don't you have sphagnum moss in Australia? It is actually better than toilet paper.

Rabbits are even better, but you have to catch the damned things first - then run the risk of catching a used one...

No - it's something to do with the toilet roll holder & paper - it's been the subject of many a student survey.

The enduring debate over whether the toilet paper should go over or under the roll is at last settled with the emergence of an 1891 patent design of the modern toilet roll.
As old as modernity, the argument known to tear couples asunder has been settled by 124-year-old visual evidence
The Toilet Paper Roll patent, registered by Seth Wheeler of New York in 1891, clearly shows that the paper should go over the roll, not under.
The picture was discovered by writer Owen WIlliams and posted on Twitter on March 17.

"Be it known that I, Seth Wheeler, of the city and county of Albany, and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Toilet-Paper Rolls," the patent begins.
With the toilet paper issue now settled, people will be able to concentrate on other important First World arrangement problems such as double-ply or triple, should the milk or the tea be poured first, or whether socks or pants should be put on first

I know this is only a small sample, but my parents, my ex mother-in-law and I, all right-handed, put it over the roll, my ex-wife and her dad, both left-handed, put it under the roll.

If that's right, and no reson why it shouldn't be, that is superb Cologne <applause>. I was trying to work out when players had been at teams that were bottom and top at the time they were there etc.
