The whole thing is a farce. I reckon nigh on 20m people cast their votes without having any idea what the various manifestos propose.

This appears to be a vote for "more of the same please". Maybe he country isn't as ****ed up as I perceive it to be?

Great post. This actually affects me directly for various reasons. Leaving the EU would pretty much screw my parents up to the point where I would have to seriously find a way to financially help them .

Why? Miliband wanted to put the minimum wage to £8!!!!! Do you know how many people would have lost their jobs? You can't have low prices and high wages!

it is all relative, minimum wage increases to 8 quid and taxes go up cos of it, so everything is just as expensive.

Leaving EU would be a disaster.
EU working laws prevent us having to work 80 hours a week

    I don't know.

But there was similar scaremongering when the minimum wage was originally introduced.

You can't expect to go to your usual shop or restaurant and expect the price to be the same when the person serving you has just had their wages increased to £8!

I think my near neighbours have changed his mind back for him again. <laugh>

Some ****nuts on Twitter blaming Scotland not voting Labour for the Tories getting back in. A quick bit of maths tells me that based on the poll 239 Labour plus all 58 SNP seats still doesn't add up to what the Tories have got. Those people might be better off blaming the people who voted for the Tories rather than the ones that chose their preferred opposition.

I thought we had zero inflation and wages are rising. Wasn't that the whole basis of Cameron's election message on the economy?

If the minimum wage rises to £8 an hour public expenditure falls.

Patty doesn't like right wing policies and would prefer something a bit more socialist. So he is going to live in
    Texas. <laugh>
