Fitting you win with a Hazard dive, but you deserve to win over the season anyway <applause>

i mean, it wasnt a dive, there WAS contact.

he was entitled to go down there especially at the pace he was moving.

don't give the ref a decision to make if you are a defender, if you dont want him to go down, make sure your knee doesnt knock his!

By dive I mean simulation. Contact isn't a foul.

Since when is a player entitled to go down for making contact with a defender? Surely you go down if the challenge is enough to make you fall.

ok so there was contact. was it enough to bring him down and impeed his play? well eden thought so. as did the ref.

So whats your complaint? its actually a pretty defensible decision from the refs angle-and also edens to go down (especially at the pace he was moving)

You sound like your football opinions come from watching nothing but top four football from about 2013 onwards. You can't defend a player for conning a referee and falling over under the most meagre contact, often initiated by himself.

or, im just not biased and trying to wind people up?

notice ive not once said it is a definite penalty.
nor have i said eden was right to go down.

i'll just side step your VERY thinnly veiled insult there, and say im speaking from the only angle that counts-the laws of the game.

sorry if thats not good enough for you mate!

You said he has a right to go down. That's the point I'm disputing. No player has a right to throw themselves on the floor.

It wasn't meant as an insult- it's the sort of image that way of thinking provokes. Football is a contact sport so contact will happen. Players like Hazard spoil that side of the game and we are poorer for it.

IMO they have a right to if they are fouled.

you have the right not to like it.

you are conflating two issues diving-which is the fabrication of a foul, and a player deciding there was a foul and highlighting it to the referee to make sure the correct sanction is applied.

the second act isn't illegal in the rules of the game. its gamesmanship, and you may dislike it but to be frank that doesn't matter.

On winning the premier league title, you deserved to win it.

Thanks Matth.

Watford, haven't you got better things to do, like abuse Rio.

Congratulations btw on yesterday
