Or Cockneys they cover a very wide spectrum to anyone outside London
Not willing to hazard a guess which one of the four will be willing to speculate the most ?

Just in case you were wondering why Burnley didn't win the title

My take on player wages is....1. They are ridiculously high. 2. The highest paid are generally the best. 3. If you don't pay them what the agent wants someone else will. This means if you do not buy the title someone else will. 4. When you talk in tens of millions it is all relative. 5. The only way to win without spending money in huge amounts is to make the sport completely amateur, and then most future soccer stars would play more lucrative sports.

Football is a professional team game, not a jolly romp like It's A Knockout between seaside town teams consisting of accountants, students and school teachers. If your team doesn't have money to win then they will have to go and get it and don't try and tarnish others because they were astute or even lucky enough to be rich.

It would not be too difficult , simply apply a set salary cap set each season, the figure of course would have to be very high but at least it would give us back our sport instead of it being a hobby for billionaires , I am sure it would give you a supporter a lot more satisfaction to win a title in competition with the whole Premier league

Unless it's rolled out across Europe too or even further afield, you risk losing all quality footballers. If it's set too high, it's pointless.

Fred read your own post again, then tell me to buy a new brain if you must, but it is not legible. Sorry for over estimating your age earlier.

\I am sure that once you learn to read English it will become easy for you, maybe your teacher could explain it to you
Have to say you offer an unusual combination

Sure you aren't looking at your own diagnosis? Still have no idea what you are talking about, people from Sunderland being called cockneys.....
Where that came from I dont know.

Am I getting the wrong message or is there no one in London with a modicum of common sense, I refuse to believe it, just tax your mental capabilities and try to understand the point I am trying to make without looking for something to denigrate , you will finish up like me then , a very happy person

You made the point that people in Sunderland are not called Cockneys, which no one was asserting in the first place.
Hence the confusion.....I think you may be getting a little confused in your retirement years my friend.....go take a breather..............and a banning

He had a tough night celebrating the 126 year anniversary of when Sunderland last won the league.

    Anyway, he is gone.
May seem a little harsh but I have looked over his post history on the Chelsea board and I have yet to find a post he has made that isnt about buying titles or Sunderland cockneys and I really am not in the mood to deal with freaks at the moment.

Salary capping indeed has to be a FIFA directive. The only reason the Premiership became what it is was because it matched Italian/Spanish wages.

I also have a moral objection against it. Why should someone have their wage limited? I feel the same about Hollywood. Why shouldn't a film star get the going rate, based on their box office appeal? Should actors have a salary cap to reduce cinema tickets? Should smaller studio have legislation to help them against larger studios? Should there be a quota on Canadian actors in all Star Trek features? If by some miracle players themselves saw that too high a wage was killing the sport and decided to imposed their own universal limit then I'd accept it.

Don't misinterpret my words though. The are many things I do not like the structure of football (most being the players themselves and not because of their football). I hate gambling and how it impacts on all sport. There is no such thing as a level playing field. There never was.

All goes back to the same ultimate truth.
You cannot legislate to make everyone equal, it just isn't the case. Never was, never will be.
