So you think WBA will beat you at home? I had that as your one point. You only need a point. We've got 1 win and two draws in us max. Agree 35 will be cut off point

I think Blackpool would beat us at home at the moment and they are the only team to have a worse league record than us for 2015! WBA under Pullis arent amazing, but he always plays with a plan and is always defensively astute. I think they will win it from a corner or two, especially as Carver highlighted in an interview that we cant defend corners

Tonight's game is irrelevant for us. Beat Leicester and we're 8 points clear of Sunderland and safe. We only need to focus on the team in third bottom. We'd also be a minimum of 4 points clear of Leicester with both us and them only having 3 games left.

It's ridiculous that it's come to this but this is what happens when you let two defenders leave in January and fail to bring in a single player, on top of the you then give the job of manager to the most under qualified person going.

Win at Leicester and we're safe. If that doesn't happen then it's win against West Brom and we're safe. We need one win between now and the end of the season. If we can't win any of our last 11 then we'll get exactly what we deserve which is 2nd tier football next season.

This is very true (though I still think we might not need it). Am I the only one who is not that bothered if we go down? Yeah we'd be a lot worse off than last time we did but I don't think its the end of the world as some have it. That said I am not as fussed as I once was about football. The whole Sky/PL thing has turned me right off, I find myself hardly watching any games and not bothering to even tune in the goals programmes.

I like Kammy though, he's a ****ing loon.

Football is boring. It has been ever since turned it into a brand. Sky are delusional if they think the PL is the greatest league in the world. It's so not. Money has ruined the game and turned it in to a marketing bore fest.

I couldn't give a **** if we go down personally. I think it will do us a world of good. But, I am at the stage where I couldn't give a **** what happens to the club period.

I'm telling you this now; Sunderland will win on Saturday. I've never been so sure about that in my life. They will get a jammy 2-1. Quote this ****er now for latter reference.

It suddenly dawns on Mike Ashley that he's about to lose £100 million in tv money.......

I know we are setting records on how to lose but can we lose one half - nil?

Never heard that score before in all my years.

<whistle>

Its small margins now Trev, big money involved. The PL have introduced 1/2 goals to liven things up. These are 'goals' which are not really goals but should have been. An example would be someone takes a shot, its goal bound, but is then blocked by Obis massive arse as he has decided to lay down in the 18 yard box during the interval to eat his chicken balti pie. (Mike permitted it because he loves any man who loves pie)

I seem to be in the minority thinking this but I think anyone who hopes Mike Ashley sells up should be praying for us not to get relegated. Ashley will not give us away - he will want his money and his loan back. We won't be worth the money he wants if we're not a Premier League club. We'll be stuck with him. If he continues with his philosophy of living within our means then he will adjust the way the club is run to fit within a championship income. All that will have changed is that we will stagnate in the championship instead of the Premier, but we will be a lot less sellable and so less likely to get a new owner.

Our case is simple. Bad recruitment, penny pinching and a gaffer who put his footballing ideals before his squad's capabilities. Used to say it every season with Wigan and Fulham when I tipped them for relegation. Flirt with it enough and sooner and later you'll go down and they did. We deserve to go down. Lucky for us we've got relegation clauses and a very good u21 team coming through, I think we'll avoid back to back relegation but could be stuck in the Championship a very long time.

Surprised you didn't blame Steve Bruce like all you mackems do!

You've just made the list mate, along with

John Carver
Hacky Sack ( Where the **** is he anyway?)
Obi
Lee Ryder
Pardew
Shola
Steve Evans

That looks like a splendid Guest List for your Xmas Dinner.
Surprised that you've invited Shola and left Sammy out though.
Good luck looking for Hacky now that's he's working undercover.

In truth I just don't care anymore. All I'm bothered about is which golf GPS I should invest in, how to improve my chipping, and which new irons I should treat myself to having won quite a few quid on the GG's of late. **** Newcastle United and Mike Ashley, I love golf <laugh>

Seriously the going down lark is an aside from the whole Ashley affair, which I see no end to in the near future regardless of division, protest or an other matter. Just my humble opinion but Newcastle United is serving Sports Direct well. All these programmes about him and his business, aren't even all that damaging. It all just draws attention, something he doesn't mind for his business if not himself. Nobody ever shows any interest in buying us. There are not even rumours. I gave up that a while back.

The not caring if we go down stuff I have expressed countless times over the last few years regardless how we are doing. I really enjoyed our championship year. I actually felt some connection with that team. Probably the last time I did bar the first season back up. In reality I just don't care what division we are in. As long as I feel some connection with my team, feel like those on the pitch and in the boardroom give a ****, then I'm hooked in, I can't help it. However if what they are selling me is this current meandering pointless existence whichever division then I have better things to do with my life. When I was in my 20's travelling around to watch them I might have seen it all differently, but now...

I never really thought I'd see the day, but its not just Newcastle I'm not that enamoured with. I'm ****ing sick of the football in this country. I don't really feel any connection with our international league of footballing nomads. Its a game for fannies now at pro level too. I've just realised I don't really care about football anymore.

The only reason I still come on here is to enjoy Heed's demise in anything, laugh at how fat Obi is, and play the KGB/wolf games to **** with your head. I give my opinion on just about any old bollocks for the craic though

I think we should be able to beat WBA at home lads. Be positive.

All this being positive stuff, really has to STOP.
It's not becoming of a Newcastle United fan to behave this way and I believe it may actually be illegal.:police:
I implore you to join the Dark Side without delay, but, please keep sharp objects at arms length if you do decide to take the plunge and join up.

Imagine that season other year when Cisse couldn't score but almost did at least twice a game! We would have won the league!

Our last good team was under Bruce, Then he went a bit daft. Things like devolving a good squad, playing without any strikers and even once playing a LB up front.

He takes his share of the blame. But Quinn let him replace Bent, Gyan, Henderson and Cana with Ji, Wickham, Gardner and Vaughan so he's at fault too. Quinn and Bruce were idiots, as are any Hull fans who thinks those transfers are good business. <ok>

I know you think he's my manager he can do no wrong. But that's just delusion. ;)

I think Hull's recent transfer business hasnt been too bad. I know that Hernandez hasnt played much, perhaps due to injury, but when ever ive seen him play his looked very good, quick, strong, agile. I would have taken him at the toon. Diame was cheap and on his day can be unplayable. Tom Ince, i can see why they bought him, but for me the kid just has the wrong attitude, something Brucey thought he may have been able to sort out. then theres Dawson, Remirez, snodgrass, huddleston and Ben Arfa at reasonable prices/loan isnt that bad. Getting them all fit and more importantly, playing consistantly well is another question.

I'd take Ben Arfa back now if we could. We should send Charnley to search every McDonalds in France to find him.

Don't say that, it upsets me massively. I'd still like to throttle that little twat.
