And PSG are trying to get Pogba.

Oh Morgan ...... Barca, Madrid, Juve, but please not Spuds or United. Definitely not Spuds. Just take a look at this bit of paper on the desk here and sign your name on the bottom. We are the closest club to France... mon ami

mange tout, mange tout

United are close to getting Gundogan, so unless Herrera is going they won't get Morgan too.

Or youngster that made a mistake because of advice from his agent. :p

<laugh> Player to agent; You didn't tell me there was 7 foot of snow here every winter. Or that the Chairman would arrive at the training ground every day in a bullet proof limo full of champagne and hookers. You sure this place is safe?

Nah, the last part wouldn't say "are you sure this place is safe," but "Where the hell is my bullet proof limo full of champagne and hookers?"

Would take Bamford in a heart beat , remember him tearing one of our youth teams to pieces at St Marys when he was still playing for Forest. Came home raving about him , in the next week he signed for Chelsea .
It was the team containing Prowsey (went passed him easily for the fourth IIRC), Mugabe (mugged him for the first) Shaw, Turnbull, Stephens, Sinclair, McQueen, Gape and Reed.

Nice to hear that statement...things may still happen, but at least the intention is to keep the team together, so we shouldn't expect a major exodus. And the Schneiderlin situation last summer does show that saints can be firm when they want. However, we must accept that sometimes an offer is too good to turn down. No fear of asset stripping either. Interesting that we will not be after a major goalkeeping signing, but a season long loan (as Forster is expected back in January).

Reed said Stephens and Turnbull will have a chance of being part of the first team squad next season.

Stephens as dm please.

Petr Cech ???

Reed also said we will be after a keeper on loan or sign a young keeper for the future. It would suggest Gazzaniga and Cropper aren't seen as good enough.

May not be. He also said maybe a young keeper for the future. Fran missed a bit out.

Ok, but did he say not permanent signing? He's just trying throw Spurs off our targets; they keep trying to copy us, even to the point of scoring the same number of goals on Saturday.

Well he said Loan or bring in a young keeper for the future. So the young keeper sounds permanent.
