Knew Bobby Bell and George Catlaugh very well. Duncan Welbourne lived in my road and I lived in Ken Nicholas' old house. Sadly nearly all gone now but what would they have given to witness
todays events?

You must be almost as old as me. <yikes> I will have to watch out or someone will tell me next they remember Maurice Cook. :)

Today was just in keeping with a dramatic Championship season!

Delighted ti get the job done!

Great season.

I didn't realise quite how intense the competition has been for me. Yesterday I thought about the game all day, watched it either side of midnight then fell asleep for the other games, having absolutely no expectation that we would finish up promoted.

Today, I have spent all day grinning. I still can't quite believe it. Perhaps that is because a) the expectation was that nothing would be decided until the final day, b) because we had finished playing before the other games had started, and c) I have no-one here to celebrate with. Mrs. NZ said she was pleased for me.

To the fans of other clubs, thank-you for your messages.

Great response from rival fans - Particularly look forward to games against Hull and Leicester as we had some good banter with them before.
