Just been reading the footymad board where they have several lady posters and it seems like most of their threads seem to degenerate into open flirting.
I'm pretty sure we don't have any girls on board here (if we do I'll wait to be crucified) but I think that's probably better for the banter. So is it better to remain a gentleman's club or should we get OLM to pimp up some bitches?
 
I honestly don't get why some people flirt with 50 year old women who call themselves "babe" or "chick" on the internet.
 
Craig those ladies are good friends of mine I think you will find it's just banter and fun.
I stayed with Mstiggs and her husband Jim in Lincoln last summer and they were very nice to me and my son.
She's as good a supporter of city as any I have met and follows them faithfully, the other two I met last year for a board night out and I can assure you they are both top class people and far from flirting they are just having fun and brightening up the board.
Maybe I should'nt mention this but I will seeing as you brought it up.
CazT has been battling cancer for the last couple of years and it looks like she is winning that fight, all 4 girls or ladies if you will are running in the race for life 10k run next week in Hull and between them have raised over 1000 quid already and one of them is actually running with my dads name on her number as he was a victim of the big C a few years back.
Now to me them ladies are worth their place on any message board as city fans and fine human beings, and any of you want to sponsor them on their run you can find their "Just Giving" donation site on that board and give a little if you can it's for a bloody good cause.
 
Women shouldn't have time to post on message boards, what with all that cooking, washing, ironing and hoovering to do.

It's the natural order of things.

John I'm sorry if the thread has upset you. It's supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek and no insult was intended to any of the girls on the footymad board.
 
I've seen quite a few women on here posting, Tigergal is a good poster, theres Dutch Cloud lady or whatever she's called, tiger Totty sounds like a female. I don't pay attention to what gender somebody is especially on the internet, it's more about if they have something decent to say rather than sexist bollocks.
 
I think the problem comes when other posters realise there are females posting and start flirting with them. It just becomes a bit embarrassing at times and can lead the thread to go way off topic. From reading the footymad forum for a while I see exactly the point the OP is making.
 
You say what are females doing on a message board?? What are females doing watching bloody football should be the question!!!
 
Not knocking the attempts, but the "Race" for life's 5km (3 miles) isn't it?

Because of the narrowness of the course, most people end up taking an hour to walk it, it's why they only let women do it. Us blokes don't need to train for a short walk We'd even walk there instead of needing all the ironic car parks.

That's because you are a child. If you were a 50year old man you would be happy to flirt with a 50 year old woman. They can call themselves what ever they like.
