It was 30% actually

30% possession, 1 goal, 3 points > 70% possession, 0 goals, 0 points

Not pretty but damn impressive I'd say. Kudos to United for being a force to be reckoned with again. Mike Dean didnt have a good game but the penalty call was spot on. Pay back for that penalty a few seasons ago at the Bridge with Welbeck doing exactly the same on Ivan and getting a pen.

One step closer.

Undeserved lead really. Thats your game plan though.
this is your season plan. FACT!
Oh yes, Dean missed blatant Red for De Gay and rightly booked Herrera for Kicking at Cahill.
Whole world agrees not just us.

70% eh......poor return, not how much you have its what you do with it that counts. As for the bile that will be coming our way from the pundits......bring it, I will regard it as a badge of honour.

Neither side really did too much with it. You had one real chance and scored. We had a few half chances and didnt.

Another day and it ends 2-2 (falcao and Hazard with 2 each) but not today.

Difference was Falcao didn't have the quality to finish what was an easier opportunity than Hazards but Hazard did end of.

Thought Rooney did quite well in deep midfield but what a waste of resources can't really see long ball Gaal taking you to the heights of the drunk.

I too doubt he will stay 26 years and achieve the same level of success.

Very observant once again. <ok>

Thanks Dave, it wasn't a classic but looking forward to the doing the Goonies next week on there own patch because it will all but win us the league.

The goons will be more giddy that you guys after they swiped mighty Reading aside.

Be good to see them smacked back down to earth.

Though I'd take a draw at the Goons, winning would be great. Could you imagine a guard of honour from Liverpool at Stamford Bridge?

Deep down, Chelsea fans would not want to be dominated at home but a rival for most of the match. That was what got Jose fired the first time around. Boring and taking no risks = watching wall dry stuff for Roman. Yes, they will win the title, but definitely would not be the most coveted champions.

Dominated? Tactics, successful tactics old boy, with a fully fit Costa we would have had goals aplenty.

Unlikely. Hes been a bit average for a while. Earlier in the season he may have bagged a few.

Today he would have started a fight or 40. If he had started, it would have been a good job Rojo didnt. <laugh>
