We also need just a point to confirm 4th in the playoffs, although granted slipping to 5th doesn't change the teams we'd face.
come on. who would actually WANT ipswich in the play offs? i would love to know the split. i cant make my mind up,but think on reflection i DO want to play them if we can not nick second

I'd rather play Ipswich than any other team in the top eight. Brentford, Wolves, Derby, 'Boro have all taken points off us.

I just wish our home form was better. We have been inexplicably dreadful at home.

Not bad results wise for us today. A win against Forest will seal our place then bring it on! <ok>

Derby on paper with their awful form should be the easiest team to play against.
agree about derby.them or yourselves would do me. i think the sheer pleasure of turning you boys over swings it to prefering you(but the flipside is unthinkabe!)

Yes there is no doubt that we will be the underdogs but that will just only add to motivate our players even more. I doubt if we would meet over 2 legs making a Wembley final the only alternative.

Only just saw that Bournemouth finished 2-2 . Switched over before it ended. So much for Wednesday being on the beach. Unless it's Sandbanks!

That is clearly correct as demonstrated by Bournemouth v Brum. It's still too close to call with Watford clear favourites and Boro's GD being a distinct disadvantage. May be clearer after next weekend..or not.

There is always hope I suppose but can you really see 2 of the 3 above us slipping up? On top of that we have to beat Rotherham, who won't be safe if they get a points deduction, and our bogey team Fulham. There is also a lot to fear in the playoffs if, as seems likely, we are in with Boro, Derby and our friends down the road.
