Did anyone else hear Agnew on TMS say " the brown patches left , where the bowlers have followed through " ?
What job was it? Shame you couldn't do it.Ha, absolutely!
No, your first point is certainly right. I've lost money a fair few times doing work for the folks in question, but I've shut up and taken the hit to get my name out there and get more working opportunities. However, at current I can't afford to take that hit, what with going back to university this weekend also.
I still buy CD's , have loads of LP's . Buy my music from square records in Wimborne . ( well have done over the last few years ) .
Just have to save up and get the old LP12 going , oh , and an amp & speakers as well .

Crazy thing is, in the 80s it cost about £1.99 to get a single. Now it's 79p.
Why am I doing this job again!?
Because you are the only known link between me and Kylie.
Guessing she wasn't his type?A gay guy just checked me out and asked me if I was gay. I replied nope and he laughed and went shame. What made it weird was he asked me when I was talking to customer and blanked her completely.
So what was the general consensus of opinion about BBC2's Banished..?
Remarkably, for me, I watched every episode, mostly from the iPlayer, and got caught up in it, though I can't say I found the dramatic twists and turns terribly believeable. I'm not even sure I liked it that much, but it was an engrossing experience. I'm certainly not agog with anticipation of a second series but if they made another I might watch it.
Pretty dull, and pedestrian is my concensus. I haven't watched the final episode yet, but have stuck with it nevertheless. Jimmy McGovern usually writes really engaging, gritty stuff, and although the idea of this was good, it was a bit ploddy, predictable and repetitive. "Who shall we attempt to hang next, even though we know somebody will come in and save the day?"
Indeed. Well, I won't spoil it for you, but there are one or two final twists.
Interesting that, like me, you stuck with it.![]()

You have a Sondek too..? Snap. What's it's problem..? Faulty Valhalla [total guess]..?![]()
Is it as dull as Poldark though?
Best drama I saw recently on BBC was The Casual Vacancy.More going in Poldark most definitely.
Just finished the final episode of Banished, and thought it was an OK finish.
