Here you are My understanding is that Watford would go above us if we had the same GD, as they have scored more goals. Perhaps someone can confirm this!!
We win one game 4-3 and lose the other two 1-0 while Watford play out 3 dour 0-0 draws. By my reckoning that comes down to the flip of a coin. Shame the championship doesn't use head to head record.
id be surprised if that happened, but yup that'd do it! No need to flip a coin, go on alphabetic order surely!
Like being in a maths class reading this thread, never was good at maths. I'm keeping it simple, we win all our games and Middleborough and Watford both lose a game.
If we win all our games, Drunky, then Boro don't have to lose for us to finish above them. Watford have Birmingham and sheffield Wednesday at home and Brighton away. CH to the rescue?
my money is on bournemouth to drop points to either bolton or charlton. Very surprised to see bookies keeping us as second favourites though, i would fancy watford more based on final games, and their tendency to score pretty freely. i still like the look of us to win th playoffs at at 7/1. seems pretty nice odds, considering how tight it is
From the report n the EDP website - But Slavisa Jokanovic’s side needed to win by three goals at the City Ground to move level on goal difference with the Canaries – which would have moved them into second courtesy of having scored more goals.
Something not quite right with that table! This is how it should look: http://www.football-league.co.uk/sky-bet-championship/league-table/
Chin up guys, we are no worse off than last weekends set off results and another game chalked so by my reckoning thats a good thing, only three games left and time for the twelfth man to step up to the plate friday, we can do this!!
well at least we have 3 easy games now, why if we look at the previous legs of all of them, on aggregate we won, oh. None of them. total score of 1-6. Oh dear.
