Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman is ‘looking forward to the challenge’ of beating Watford tomorrow night after experiencing some frustrating recent results.

The Hornets provide the latest high-flying opposition in a run of fixtures which has seen The Reds also face promotion-chasing Wolves and Brentford.

Forest were unfortunate to only take one point from those two matches in his view and Freedman is determined to claim victory this time around. “The players have been fantastic since I walked through the door. From the season looking promising, to looking at relegation, it’s been a very emotional season and I think you’ve seen the effects of that.”

Freedman has told a number of players that they are not in his plans for next season, and reports from fans suggest that the team has now taken an extended holiday.

Slavisa Jokanovic is aware of Nottingham Forest's pace and power ahead of Watford's trip to the City Ground.

He said: "I have watched many of Nottingham Forest's recent games and they are very strong, fast and organised. They will not offer us a lot of space and we will have to resolve this problem.

"This is England and there are a lot of surprising results. It is true that we have a more important target than Forest for the remainder of this season but I don't expect to find a releaxed Forest team.

    Team News:

Nottingham Forest will welcome back midfielder Gary Gardner after he completed a two-match. suspension
Meanwhile, strikers Dexter Blackstock and Mo Barrow will be assessed after being absent from the squad in the 1-0 defeat by Huddersfield on Saturday.

Defender Craig Cathcart (calf) has been passed fit to play for promotion-chasing Watford but striker Fernando Foresteri (knee) misses out.

Joel Ekstrand and Sean Murray are out.
    Facts:

This is not relevant to our match but Keith Stroud from Hampshire is referee for the Reading v Bournemouth match tonight - the 3rd time he has been in charge of them this season. I realise Hampshire is not Dorset but they are close.

1-3 to us tomorrow night! By Saturday 5pm I believe we will know our fate :)

Bournemouth was in Hampshire until 1974. I used to holiday regularly in Poole which was over the border in Dorset.
We can but hope that he (Stroud) over compensates for the perceived bias. It is a strange appointment, not that I believe for a nanosecond that his integrity is compromised, but I don't think it's fair on him in the slightest let alone the rest of the footballing world.

Interesting to see Reading have only made one change. Mind how much will their players put in?

If scores stay as they are we will have to deal with the pressure.

As always thanks for the thread OFH!!

This game and then Saturday´s with Norwich v Boro on the Friday. Well, we will see how it goes maybe with a bit more pressure on the players depending on the other previous results.

This is the real business end of things now, no room for errors. Unreal given our managerial mayhem earlier in the season. A lot of the players will have been around this end of the table before, hopefully the experience will count that little bit extra to help us go up. I have grown my fingernails esspecially for the next few games!

    COYH!!!!!!!

I was surprised and disappointed that none of the other three slipped up yesterday - puts enormous pressure on us tonight
