As a ball winner he is first class as a footballer he is second rate, take your choice. Colback and even Mayler are better than Catts imo.
What sort of racist are you!!!

Not a good'un apparently. But Hirahito hated the Chinese, well the army told him he did, so that'll do me.
Benito Francisco Hirahito Blunham Adolf Smith has a ring to it you ask me.
But it's your kids, if you want to be picky.... call him Sue.
Really mate? Your kidding ain't you?As a ball winner he is first class as a footballer he is second rate, take your choice. Colback and even Mayler are better than Catts imo.
I might have overstated the case but the point is his overall contribution is not as telling as some would believe. Opinions mate.Really mate? Your kidding ain't you?
I think we've taken more points this season with him in the squad. I can see where you and the other blokes are coming from though, Catts can be replaced IMO. I love the bloke though, old school slugger, Harry highpants tooI might have overstated the case but the point is his overall contribution is not as telling as some would believe. Opinions mate.I sincerely hope I am wrong, but its just the way I see it.
.

Your probably right and I would have Catts down as a certain starter for our remaining games this season, but it is as much to do with our lack of options as much as the player himself, this goes for a few positions by the way, but you never know, they saved us last year and we were in a worse situation then.I think we've taken more points this season with him in the squad. I can see where you and the other blokes are coming from though, Catts can be replaced IMO. I love the bloke though, old school slugger, Harry highpants too![]()

If we stay up, as Bri say, keep him at all costs. If we go down he is too good for the championship and we have Bridcutt who is good enough for the championship - good enough for Real Madrid according to Poyet![]()
Real Madrid Z juniors maybe, he's ****ing turd that lad.

Have you seen that Odegaard just flat out refuses to train with Real Madrid youth side? He has a clause in his contract saying he must train with the first team 5 times per week, so most of the time he's just sat at home
Talk about money going to your head, the kid's gonna end up on the scrap heap.
I dunno mate, have you seen the lad? ****ing hell.
I think there may be a case that he feels it would stunt his development training with youths, bear in mind he's a full international.
I think he's the real deal mate, his balance is incredible, and the last thing to come, good decision making, he has it already.
I thought his initial contract was only 4k a week anyway?
80k a week apparently.
He's got the talent mate, but he's essentially telling Zidane he can't be bothered to come in and listen to his **** because he is above Zidane's station. At the end of the day, humility is essential to any top footballer's development, going in thinking you're the best surrounded by players like Kroos, Modric, Ronaldo and co is only gonna end up with him being humiliated.
He should never have went there, he should have went to Ajax I reckon.
He'd probably have developed quicker at Ajax, yeah.
I think the press are stringing him up though mate, the way I see it, he didn't make the demands more the decision was taken at Presidential level at Madrid, the lad has trained with the first team from day one then been asked to train with Castilla players and maybe sees it as a step down.
Tell you what is without question mate, anybody on planet earth would benefit from training with Zidane, the finest 'all round' footballer I have ever seen, and an intelligent and very level headed bloke.
He could tackle, pass, shoot, head, boss, do whatever Zidane, and not without a ridiculous amount of flair and grace, what a ****ing player man. Would love to have seen him in England.
Just don't call his sister a slut, cos he will savage you, ha.
Oh yeah, he was a world class headbutter mate.
One of my favourite players mate, he was untouchable at his best, people yap on about Messi and Ronaldo as if there's been nobody in between them two and Maradona/Pele. I enjoyed watching Zidane, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Figo, Romario, Ronaldo and from a United point of view, Scholes and Cantona, just as much if not more than I enjoy watching the two goal machines.
Ronaldo (Cristiano) couldn't have done what he has done with Zidane in the team, Ronaldo would have felt inferior to Zidane and Ronaldo has to be the big fish. There's a lot of right place, right time involved with him at RM.
Messi as well, totally right place, right time, that Iniesta/Xavi partnership made him the player he is today.
Neymar isn't fit to lace the boots of any of that lot I've just listed.
Agree with all of that mate, I was careful to say 'all round', as absolutely there are parts of the game Ronaldo, Messi etc are better at.
All round though, Zidane was close to world class at everything, and only Xavi has been anywhere near achieving that.
Ronaldo gets Ballon d'or, but do Madrid with the CL without the likes of Sergio Ramos, Marcello, Carvajal? Do they ****.
See for me, I'm obviously biased but he's nowhere near Scholes. I wouldn't expect you to agree, as you're not a United fan and I'll always have that bias in me. I'd never have swapped Scholes for any player in the world whilst he was at United.
Scholes has more major honours than Xavi, more goals, more assists. The rest is opinion and debating who controls games better, something nobody should have the time to do! Xavi probably shades accuracy but don't forget he slipped 5 to 10 yard passes around for fun all game, Scholes had that 50-60 yard ping in him at least twice a game and still come out with 93%.
As for Ronaldo, I'd agree, that team last season was something else, I doubt they'll do it again this season, but you never know with talent like that on the pitch. Modric, he made the difference a lot, as did Benzema but all the praise was heaped on Ronaldo and ADM after that final.
Scholes was same era for me, whereas Xavi is next, or else absolutely Scholes was the man.

He'll go anyway, he's probably had enough of constant relegation battles! On bbc gossip Stoke want to sign Catts at the end of the season for a reported £6 million.
First of all I think he's worth three times that.
If we go down, which looks very possible, then I doubt if we can keep any of our (few) decent players and Catts is our best player. We will also lose Johnson, Larsson and possibly Pants and Defoe.
When the mags went down they kept their squad together and came straight back up.
We have a habit of selling our better players, even when we are staying up, Henderson, Mig and Sess for example. Also, our best peformers over the last few years have been loan players who return to their parent clubs, Welbeck, Evans, Borini, Rose for instance.
So, if we stay up or more likely, go down, just what will happen to our squad. Could we end up like Wigan?
Like many of us on here I'm thinking our squad is simply not good enough. We need at least 3 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 forwards, all of these need to be much better than those they replace. A good 50 million needed at least. I can't see that happening, only a constant struggle against relegation every year until we do get relegated. More people are realising that after 5 recent managers nothing has changed. They surely can't all be so useless can they?
