Not an expert on how they arrive at the actual figures, I would imagine that it is a reflection of the amount of money that is being lumped on each club as well as analysis of their prospects in each of the remaining games.

Certainly isn't boring being an R's fan is it! Seems a long time since we've reached this stage of the season thinking, 'ah well, mid table it is.' 2009-2010 was probably the last time. As for this year, a win today would be massive.

One glimmer of hope is the fact the so called big teams we still have to play are ones we have in recent history put in decent performances against and got the odd result against. Reckon we need Three wins and a draw, it's doable. A win today would be huge, we'd be out of the drop zone and it puts added pressure on those below to win their games in hand.

I agree with other comments regarding Hull and Sunderland joining one of the promoted teams going down. Hull have a stinker of a run in - however they have to play Burnley and unfortunately I cannot see them getting points off anyone else. We have a tough run in as well, and yet a point today (or even 3) will / should hopefully give the team a little more confidence. I think that WBA will be ok - Tony Pulis has never been relegated and I would hate to be a WBA (except for their large salaries) player at this time after two defeats against teams they would have expected to have picked up maximum points against. Burnley are well organised and the ginger Mourinho has done brilliantly for them - however Danny Ings has lost his scoring boots. (He is quality but I would be happy if he did not find them again this season - unless against Hull). Leicester never give up - and our last game of the season could potentially be one that decides our fate. Maybe next year, regardless of who is in charge (and I hope it is Chris Ramsey), then I hope he sorts the defence out.

In order to do that, don't you need to get above them to begin with? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Thai has suddenly appeared when Norwich look good for promotion back to the PL. There was nary a squawk out of him when they was down the league.

This must be COL's worst nightmare!

For me, what was good about today was that we didn't nick a win or hold out for a draw against a barrage of Chelsea attacks. We actually dominated the game on all accounts and lost only by a silly mistake, otherwise giving the opposing team no chances and controlling most of it. If we can play like that in every game for the rest of the season, we would stay up.

Think we came out stronger than ever from today. We were as good as the scum and they are going to win the league. No need for us to fear anyone. We can beat any team in this league and stay up. ComeONRRRRRRR

I actually think that it will be one of us, Burnley and Leicester to go down with Hull and Sunderland.
I fear Leicester may relegate us on the last day!

Playing like the last 3 games (well, the second half of the Villa game) with 10-12 games to go I would have said no problem, but we are running out of games, we must now get results as well as the total commitment performances.

Whatever happens I hope Ramsey is kept on, I suspect given some time and young talent he could add some style to the effort.

I just hope that the players don't allow the pressure of the situation affect their performance.....the 2 home games are must win, Liverpool are not great and we could sneak a point, and City, well who knows how they will perform as the title will be long gone.....Leicester could turn out to be winner takes all.....

I am happy if we stay up or even if we fall … we have Ramsey and if we keep him we will come straight back up with one hell of a team
so … no worried and until we are down then i will always believe we can stay up and whatsmore i am bloody proud of that because I love our club
No time for posters saying we are down in April when we have every chance to stay up
