    We can do it!

Let's discuss all things survival here. What do we need? How do other teams look? What are our fixtures and other teams around?

Looking at everything, Leicester have some fair fixtures for them but I can see them slipping up a few times. They are the poorest team in the league, quite possibly. Burnley have some fair fixtures too. Ours are pretty tough, BUT Sunderland and Hull have some stinkers. If anything, the most likely outcome is QPR and Burnley surviving whilst Hull and Suderland go down with Leicester.

If we pull this off, it'll be magnificent. It'll feel like winning at Wembley last season.

I'm confident that we'll stay above Hull. Leicester's little purple patch will run out soon. For me it's all about finishing above Burnley.

To be honest, I could imagine it ending up Burnley 16th and QPR 17th. But it's not all done yet and anything can happen.

    Edit.... I mean could!

I am optimistic at the moment we will stay up. One defeat could easily change me to being pessimistic.

Tomorrow is so important not to lose. We have momentum with us.

I think it will be Hull and Sunderland with one of us, Leicester or Burnley following them down. The game at Leicester will be another OBZ day!

Tight as a drum and likely to remain so until the last day.
Hull have a dreadful run to the last day an would need to do what we did when we beat Stoke, Liverpool etc. We did it, so could they (sadly).
Burnley and Leicester have found their scoring boots. Billionth reckons Leicester will fizzle out soon. I see no evidence of that.
It might actually be Sunderland, Hull and then one of the three promoted teams to fill the last slot.
Unless we beat Chelsea today (unlikely but not at all impossible), and continue to gain points, it seems likely that it will come down to the last day with us needing something at Leicester.
The lads need to be on fire today!

I actually think Leicester have the momentum and it has turned their way recently. They've had a couple of late winners and just don't give up. They're the last team I'd want to play on the last day.

Hull and Sunderland are both struggling to score . It's strange that the three promoted clubs all look in better shape than the two teams they are chasing. It's definitely three from five now...

West Brom can still go down with their run in. 7 Clubs still in it though I expect Villa to escape unfortunately.

Can't see us getting anything today and just hope our goal difference doesn't get hit too hard. That late winner for Leicester could be the goal to save their season.

I've always been an optimist and look where we are ............ over the past couple of weeks, I switched to being a complete pessimist and it seems to be paying off!
A couple more mood swings and we may just stay up ................. of course, we won't, not a friggin chance, you know wot l mean?

Just took a look at oddschecker to see how the market views our relegation prospects.

    QPR 1/4
    Burnley 5/7
    Leicester 10/11
    Sunderland 11/10
    Hull 6/5
    Villa 11/1
    WBA 14/1

Still feel we need a win against either Chelsea, Liverpool or Man City.

Sunderland look as bad as we did 2 years ago. Newcastle may have just enough in the bank but are equally dire.

Tony Cascariino had it Hull, Sunderland and ........us, on 34 points second bottom, including a draw today.

As I've already said on another thread, I think we'll need three wins and a draw from the remaining six. Tall order but not impossible.
A win today would give the boys a huge boost to confidence.
