Buoyed by gaining four points from a possible six on the road in the last week, Rangers will be keen to make home advantage count against Jose Mourinho’s title-chasers. It will be a difficult task, however, with the Blues heading into the weekend some seven points clear – with a game in hand – at the summit of the division. Rangers, meanwhile, are two points adrift of Hull in 17th, with the bid to beat the drop intensifying with every twist and turn as the clock ticks down to the end of the season. The R’s recent record against the Blues is impressive in W12 though. Unbeaten in the last two league meetings at Loftus Road, memories of Heidar Helguson’s winner here in 2011/12 will undoubtedly come flooding back this weekend, as Rangers look to build on a fine seven days in the wake of impressive displays at West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa. The reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge in November was a keenly-contested local derby, with the Blues running out narrow victors by the odd goal in three, thanks in part to a cheating and diving ill deserved Eden Hazard penalty. Richard Dunne’s return from an MCL knee injury is likely to provide Ramsey with a timely boost, whilst Leroy Fer is closing in on a return and could be in contention for the R’s next home fixture versus West Ham in two weeks’ time. Yun Suk-Young is in line to return from concussion after missing Tuesday’s thriller at Villa, but Rio Ferdinand, Michael Doughty and Adel Taarabt are all out. Diego Costa’s on-going hamstring problems will in all likelihood mean Loic Remy gets a rare start on his return to Loftus Road, whilst Mourinho is expected to opt for Gary Cahill over Kurt Zouma at the heart of the Blues back four. Another sub-plot on Sunday is that this is the last weekend on which a tenth yellow card produces immediate suspension, and three of the eight players who are one caution away from a two-match ban (at least) are playing in this fixture: R’s skipper Joey Barton and Chelsea duo Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic. It promises to be quite an afternoon in W12. please log in to view this image Possible Starting Xl's please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image QPR win: 15/2 Draw: 15/4 Chelsea win: 4/11 please log in to view this image Chelsea 2, QPR 1 – Premier League – Saturday 1st November 2014 Scorer: Chelsea – Oscar, Hazard; QPR – Austin please log in to view this image QPR wins: 15 Draws: 18 Chelsea wins: 21 please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Referee: A Marriner Assistant Referees: S Ledger & D Cann Fourth Official: M Atkinson WAGS please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Naty Hormazabal - Isla's Mrs and Daniella Semaan - Fabregas's Mrs please log in to view this image
Are you one of the five 'supporters' of the scum who post on their board on here? Last of the non non-dom scummers.. You'll be watching on the telly, I'm guessing. Thanks for helping out with the spelling of the Chelsea players' names Ninsey, I wasn't entirely sure with some of them.
As predictable as ever from a Chelsea fan. Hope the animosity levels are as high as ever for the visit of Mr. Terry and Co.
Going to Loftus Road tomorrow? You can look at Google Maps, I'll give you a clue: W12. Now **** off you scum tosser!
You can guarantee at least one ****** from the Scum board to comment like that. I've looked at their board, and believe me, confident they ain't!!!!
I sometimes look but don't post on their forum, the regular posters (all five of them) don't usually come over here and bother us, only the very sad keyboard warriors seem to crawl out the woodwork and wum on our board. Sad really!
I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London, brilliant track!
Good omen? Parma, who are rock-bottom of Serie A and recently declared bankrupt have just beaten champions-elect Juventus 1-0. Just shows no-one can take anything for granted. Some of that tomorrow please...
Don't know why, could be something to do with a few glasses of viognier from S of France but I think we can get something from them tomorrow, bit of a brucey bonus. .... C'mon U R's
Viognier is a great find of the last 18 months or so for me Tramore, very nice indeed. My favourite is Como Sur, from Chile. Chunky for a white. Try a nice Gavi from Piedmont, Italy if you get the chance. I am going to the game full of hope, though it would be foolhardy to have expectation. I have seen some crap football from us this year, but particularly recently nothing short of full commitment.
will look out for the gavi Stan. Another find is picpul du pinet a S of France specialty fabulous with seafood. ..m & s do a very nice one . Enjoy tomorrow Stan and safe journey.
