You were very lucky, too, from what I can gather. The Toon were all over you like a bad rash, for almost the entire of that second half.

Still, that was a good result away from home, for you, and it puts you in poll position for third.

Hm. Today, we stayed the same, in relation to where we were before today.

In the old days, mate, I would have claimed an "owning" on that one, but as we're now mates, I'll simply let it pass.

I have a big gig, tonight. New venue, new club, and a three-hour set. Need to keep focussed.

Let's just agree - well done to both mighty North London sides, today!

It's a good job you've ditched that 'owning' lark fella, because every one fell way short <laugh> But nice try anyway.

Good day for the North London Clubs, but I think Spurs did get a big slice of luck with the pen and the OG, it could have been 3 pts to Leicester today.

Good luck with the gig. My band are on a bit of a sabbatical at the moment. One of the Sax players has had a baby, the singer is doing an Acappella project with her two sisters, the percussionist is in Australia for a year and the Keyboard player is doing some production work remastering songs from his Indie days for a box set (He was the guitar player and singer in one of John Peel's favourite bands). So it's just bass, sax and drums instrumental jams at the moment until we start gigging again. But it's nice to have some time just to jam instead of rehearsing and gigging. <ok>

It was a tough gig tonight - three hours, covering most of our more technical stuff. I'm just back, and completely shagged out. Lie in, tomorrow, definitely, for me.

It was an appreciative audience, though, and they want us back, so we must have been okay. I wasn't completely happy with my sound. I think the power tubes may be on the way out on my amp.

I think the shift that HIAG was on about must be that St Totteringham's day is shifting to earlier in the season <laugh>

Can This thread be closed now as its quite clear that Tottenham have yet once again shot themselves in the foot and the power shift has now been officially closed until 2018/19 season when they buy some more players with the Michael Kane money.

So how's that shift going? There is a shift happening actually, a shift in points gap between Arsenal and Tottenham, 9 points now, keep looking up Spurs, as you ALWAYS will.

Unless he leaves in a free then they are ****ed as have a new stadium to pay for !

Personally, I think all of this "Power-Shift" talk has been a bit over-blown.

I know some have claimed that it's happening, but I remain very uncertain.

What do you lads think?

If you think Levy would be dumb enough to let Kane leave on a free transfer, you're dreaming.

Personally, I think with the new deal that has been cut with the T.V. companies, it won't be as much of a burden as you hope.

What's going to really piss-off Gooners is when we're building our stadium and it doesn't affect our finances in the slightest!
<laugh>

I'm betting that it will be "business as usual" for us Spurs.

The only thing I would have to add to that poster is the word 'another'

Earliest St Totteringham's Day we can expect is the 26th (if Sp*rs lose to Newcastle and Saints and we pick up a point against Chelsea).
