Draw is a okay as Burnley have tough games Arsenal next and still have to play Villa and Leicester.
points dropped somewhere ahead for those teams.
We just need to get a result at Villa.

Burnley worked, worked, worked and that is their secret. Spurs didnt bothered their defence much and themselves they made no mistakes in their defence. Dull match, but burnley more than earned their point.

Looks like one HR's boring 0-0 draws after he came on-board with us. At least CR is rolling the dice and going for it fielding an attacking formation away from home - too bad we don't have Fer and now possibly Vargas for a bit. One win is equivalent to 3 draws for us, even if we do get beat in a few of our remaining games.

Got the impression Fer should be back soon. He said himself he's not far away. Trouble is he's probably not going to be fully fit until the last 2 or 3 games. Fekk, see Burnley got a point - sounds like it could have been worse . ComontheToon!

back to second bottom now......now we need the barcodes to do a job later.
Something at Villa is vital.

This
Its going to be close .......can't see many of the teams getting more than 2-3 wins all 6 teams could finsh on 31-34 pts
we really do need to beat villa
c'mon u'rrrrrrrsssssssss

Beat Villa and we go above them, Burnley and hopefully Sunderland if Toon turn up, or even if they get a point today. Burnley and Sunderland will have a game in hand, but they will have to win them, and we just need to match Villa's results and goal difference to stay above them. Hull far from safe.

Guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

Yes, I really consider the Villa match will be our Waterloo (where we lost & tied by narrow margins in our previous two PL seasons) - providing Sunderland don't win today, we'd then be in 16th place on 28 pts - Hull also on 28 pts would be just above us on GD and our next target - Hull are looking very shaky and Meyler will be also missing 3 matches for his red card against Swansea.

Three wins, Villa, West Ham, Newcastle and we might even relax at Leicester...

Agree don't want to go to Leicester needing points. What would be nice is a sneaky win against scum and watch all the sheep sneak out of LR.

Toon not turned up so far by the sounds of it. Must be **** being a Newcastle fan, they give up at this stage every season.

Sunderland certainly look like the side more likely to score right now. What a crappy touch by Defoe, should have scored - glad we didn't stump up all that money for him.

Newcastle playing like a mid-table team that believe they are already safe and looking ahead to summer (Pulis quoted "social media" influence).

Damn, Jermain Defoe with almost the last kick of the half - good goal - it was coming though - now knock some sense into them John Carver.
