First ever first team match v Darlington 4-0 Good Friday 1967 followed by Gillingham Easter Saturday 2-0. Perhaps if we had lost those two, I would have saved myself so many years of anguish and pain!!!!
Exactly the same for me! This was a few weeks after rangers had won the league cup. My mum and dad took me. We used to stand behind the raised barrier that was just behind the floodlight on the right hand side of the Loft as you are looking at the pitch. The flood light used to put people off but if it was a great view as you could see through the supports and were also under cover. My dad put me on the barrier and told me to watch the no 10 who was of course Rodney Marsh.

Great story Oak.

Anybody just witness that fantastic goal by Charlie Adam for Stoke against Chelsea catching Courtois off his line from 65 yards out in his own half - extremely embarrassing for the goalie!

Last time I can remember this was the 73-74 season.

We lost home & away to Ipswich on the Friday & Monday. Can't remember what the Saturday game was.

Stoke have just gifted Chelsea a 2nd. Remy with a tap in.

Too bad, that was totally pathetic, does he have a wager on Chelsea?

Asmir Begovic has had a mare. The Stoke goalkeeper rolls the ball into the path of Eden Hazard, who strolls towards goal, before squaring for Loic Remy to slot into the empty net. Horrible defending by Begovic.

Chris Wright: Loic Remy is suddenly coming up with some very important goals. I bet Brendan Rodgers regrets not signing him back in the summer.

Spurs are getting worse and worse.
You'd think it was them that were fighting relegation.
Spineless and clueless performance. Burnley will win this.
Bring on Townsend you pillock!

Looks like one HR's boring 0-0 draws after he came on-board with us. At least CR is rolling the dice and going for it fielding an attacking formation away from home - too bad we don't have Fer and now possibly Vargas for a bit. One win is equivalent to 3 draws for us, even if we do get beat in a few of our remaining games.
