Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool Everton v Southampton Leicester v West Ham Man Utd v Aston Villa West Brom v QPR Chelsea v Stoke Need West Ham, WBA and Man Utd to do the business today. Liverpool getting stuffed. Cracking third goal. Sunday Burnley v Spurs Sunderland v Newcastle
Haven't got a scooby mate. 8 games left, in the last 8 games we've been the worst we've been all season but picked up 6 points. Could be a good oman that we pick up points at our worst. Poyet had us playing to his system which we didn't suit, If Dick can play us to our strengths with player in their natural position lie Pulis would I'm confident we'll be safe. If Dick is just as Bad as Gus we could still beat the drop but would probably be relying on other teams final day (we've got chelsea away) I think Burnley will go but no doubt about it Us, you and Burnley are the 3 teams in the **** for me. If QPR put a run together and we don't then it will goodbye from one of us. I do predict Burnley and QPR will join Leicester though.
What happened against Villa then? Did the players just want rid of Gus. Cos against us i thought O'Shea was great, over the hill old warrior who kept battling. Against Villa just didnt give a **** same as the others.
We started slow with poyet and remained slow for 90 minutes, we've had conceding early goals written all over us all season and as good as JoS has been this season, you can't deal with that all every game for a season. When you concede a couple of early goals any team is prone to complete collapse. Look at the clip of Liverpool today, prime example of Buckling. That was us against villa. Think Gus lost the Dressing room months ago, how can players enjoy their football being asked to play like a patient south american team when A. The players are incapable and B. The very nature of the league you're playing won't allow you to play with such a lethargic tempo. I noticed against West Ham Dick had upped the tempo, put players closer to their own positions and made us more direct. We created dangerous chances, something we've failed to do all season so I'm hopeful but cautious.
Two bad results today WBA 1-4 Qpr Leicester 2-1 W Ham Burnley and Sunderland to play tomorrow. Could be a bad weekend.
Well Burnley won a point against Spurs. Meanwhile it's looking favourable for Sunderland: after 30 mins they've about 75% possession........
