He helps me keep track of what day it is... Although him appearing here not on a Sunday has thrown my schedule into chaos! One more stunt like that and might have to!! hes still pretty harmless to be fair though.
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-manchester-32152534 The United Liverpool scam from 1915, Right at the top, a nice BIG picture of the Liverpool players banned over the match rigging, way down the page a single line of text referring to and naming the United players banned for life over the match rigging, but only after naming the Liverpool players again first.
@Tobes Believe it or not when I was posting that I thought now I'll just wait for Tobes' reply What I said is factual tho
Give over, Tobes. Nobody's really suggesting it's a conspiracy (I think ) -it's just fun playing Spot-The -Bias. Though it is like shooting fish in a barrel with the Beeb. Btw, Tom Fairfoul - got to be one of the best names in football ever.
Egg xactly Tobes has to take it literally in order to share his usual overreaction. I mean, the Beeb is above reproach right? Tobes tell me it isn't as I said tho.. one might wonder why Salford didn't go with a big image of the United players and their names and a little line about the liverpool players way down the article. Understanding how modern media affect people's opinions, anyone who just looked at the article but never read it all is left with the impression of Liverpool players match fixing. The Beeb have been doing such things to Palestinians for decades, always showing them with masks or thowing stones, or pictures of Hamas militants when the story is about a dead child the IDF killed. Mark Thompson who killed the Saville investigation by the BBC in 2012, is now the president and chief executive of The New York Times. Fitting
Johnny Rotten audio interview cut by the BEEB, where he tells them about Savile, this was 1978 The entertainment industry knew what Savile was The politicians knew what Savile was Prince Charles certainly knew what Savile was. A serious **** investigation into parliament and the police going on right as we speak, no news on the beeb about it. Why cover all this **** stuff up? If Rotten can go on air and say this and say everyone knows, almost 4 decades ago.. how can anyone in the upper echelons deny they knew? The Savile story was killed until he died because if he was caught while living who knows what he might have said and who he might have brought down with him. He was supplying kids to people in British and American high society for several decades
Beeb get it wrong shock horror They're not the only ones. What I honestly dont get is why choose them? Was it that someone didnt like what they said one day? Surely the alliteration in SalfordSports or SkySalford would have made for better title as well. You picked the wrong station on that basis alone
BBC Salford "Pellegrini says ref made mistakes" http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32199150 Anyone not watching the article would think Pellegrini is cracking up and blaming the ref, exactly the impression the salford twats want to give. Pellegrini actually doesn't say **** about the ref until the interviewer draws him out on it. He then goes out of his way to say the ref was not to blame for the loss and that sometimes you get decisions and sometimes you don't, today we didn't but we had enough chances for the ref's mistakes not to matter. The guy might not be the best PL manager but he's got more class than most. In the Class league he's 25 points ahead of Jose
It's still true, they titled their article based on the one question asked after Pellegrini's match comments, they drew him out on the subject and was clear on it NOT being the ref's fault. There is only one reason to title the article with that title and most people that look at that page will not watch the interview, just read the article title and move on, being left with the impression Pellegrini blamed the ref for the loss. It's bog standard tried and tested practice in modern journalism. Images and headlines in Bold do actually form opinions. That's a fact, even if you don't understand it or believe it, it does work
It's called headline writing by journalists eager to sensationalise. It is not the preserve of the BBC ffs
Those salford mancs are weirdos, they've used three different pictures of Kompany taking his shirt off on the article header for the derby game so far today
Yeah just like the clubs decision to freeze season ticket prices after meeting with supporters groups, but apparently our two recent defeats are worth a mention. Liverpool announce ticket price freeze Football Posted at16:30 Liverpool will freeze adult season tickets prices for next season and reduce junior season tickets by 10%. The announcement comes on the back of two league defeats after which Reds boss Brendan Rodgers admitted his side's chances of Champions League qualification were virtually over. "The club had planned to slightly increase season ticket prices in line with inflation but after discussing the club's wider ticketing strategy with the Supporters' Committee ticketing working group we decided to freeze prices," said Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre.
Yeah absolutely no agenda there. Tobes is not a wum, he's the biggest ****ing eeejit on the planet. He thinks politicains are honest and the BBC above reproach Let alone the minimum wage Salford office The ticket thing is clealy to give the impression the prices were dropped because of the recent performances and nothing to do with meeting with supporter groups. But do we expect any less from the BBC, World's number 1 war propaganda news corp and defender of ****s
