You didn't love Fergie doing anything, you are just thinking back and applying how you'd feel now to about it.
Since Liverpool he took a Chelsea team in total disarray who crashed out of the CL and got you qualified for the next CL and won the EL with a little over 6 months, under a hail of abuse and hate with the dressingroom not behind him. All that puts your dismissal of his abilities into context. Won La Liga too and managed 3 CL finals.
But all he did was OK with Liverpool right? C'mon you gotta admit you are talking bollocks
As for what Terry says, Terry has proven beyond all doubt that he cannot be trusted or believed where integrity is concerned.

I gave him credit for all of this in my post.
Doesn't change the fact that he went mental during his last year or so at Liverpool.
Your ownership problems I have no doubt were a big factor, but he completely lost it towards the end.

Rubbish. He took a side three points behind United in second place to 19 points behind United in three months.
During the winter collapse, he lost at home to Qpr, drew to Brentford luckily, ceded two goal leads to Reading Newcastle and saints. Plus our worst ever performance at Upton Park shipping another one goal lead.
He lost weakest Ever World Club Championship. Lost the Carling semi home and away to Swansea.
He actually saved our worst performances for EL despite 'winning it'. He lost to a Romanian side in EL and Rubin Kazan, scraped through v Sparta Prague and we apologised to Benfica fans we were so bad when we beat them.

I still think he did pretty well bearing in mind the quite unique circumstances. If he'd won every match the fans would have been vehemently against him and that can't be easy for players to work with. No one wanted to be seen as pro-Benitez plus he was totally undermined by the whole 'interim' manager farce. Footballers are never going to give 100% for a boss who won't be there next season.
Not saying he was brilliant but I don't think anyone could have been in his situation.
As for Mourinho having the same squad, you spent £136m in 2013/14.
Chelsea should apologise for a large number of performances dating back years.
Benitez was dog **** though. Always has been. He lives on the back of 3 trophies. 2 la liga titles during a poor period in la loga history and the second flukiest Champions League win ever.
Agreed, i felt a bit sad for the fat spanish waiter then i remembered how much i hated him. No idea what possessed RA to bring him in and back.
Lets not digress. I might think Terry is a scumbag and i've not always been a fan of his (i want a more dynamic pressing game and Terry being slow we have to play deeper) but he formed a fantastic defensive partnership with Carvalho and if we're winning trophies i'm happy. Hes sweated blood and tears for our team and i couldn't ask for anymore from our club captain. He also genuinely loves the club and even though he has his misdemeanors he also has positive traits.
