The Humber Bridge is closed both ways due to a lorry blowing over onto the central reservation and blocking both sides. Another lorry has blown over on the M62(Ouse Bridge) and that's now also closed in both directions and the traffic is queuing for twelve miles... please log in to view this image
Just got back from Scunny. Lorries told to exit before the Ouse Bridge yet some of the sneaky ****s still went over it. Swaying all over the ****ing place and still doing 60. **** me up it did, I had to speed up just so they wouldnt over take me. Utter ****s
I wondered about that, the lorry that turned over was only on one side, but RH definitely said it was shut both ways.
I went up and down the m1 today. There was some nasty gusts but the lorries handled it will, there was no swerving, and it didn't cause a problem. Only notable difference was no ****s flying down the outside lane at 900000000000000000000000 miles per hour.
My daughter just called on her way back from Leeds, the queue heading westbound goes all the way from North Cave to the Ouse Bridge.
Been. I don't mind people driving fast, but it's ****ing annoying on our rammed m1 when the pricks flying down the outside lane at a gazillion mph keep you boxed in stuck doing 50 behind a train of overtaking lorries.
Yes. A bit of lane discipline, overtaking and then going back in, would help. More accidents caused by people getting frustrated by some twat thinking they are the only person on the road proceeding along sedately in the middle lane than by speed. As proved by the fact there are less deaths on the unrestricted autobahn sections per cr miles travelled than any roads in Europe.
