    You're ****ing barking mad.

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli and Chelsea's Didier Drogba had earlier put Carragher's team 2-0 up in the game, which featured six members of Liverpool's 2005 Champions League-winning side.

Mum might complain if she has to go all the way to Finland to do her shopping.

No mention that it was a great strike from outside the box and no mention of the assist for the second goal ok whatever, but if you can't see that his caption is just he name whereas all the others are full sentences you are a moron

You and I would not, but when it's your job to write a simple article and you cannot even get it right.. then someone cares <whistle> To be confused by the "land" bit, being in journalism n'all. Embarrassing to say the least.

It is pretty odd that just his name is there all the same. You'd expect some sort of sentence.

But lets face it, the Salford clowns kept tabs on Balotelli antics after he went to Italy, just because he played for City. Not his scoring record or anything, just if he had issues like.

Oh right, just putting his name under a picture of him at the bottom of the piece is a sure fire sign of blatant BBC anti kopite bias <laugh>

#NoSalfordBBCBias, after United's title wins the whole sports page was awash with articles about United.
City won it last year and the bbc sport page was not awash with articles about City. There was 3 at most.

And the article they did write, put up a table of PL wins and talked about United Chelsea and Liverpool with a bit at the end about City <laugh>

The press go with the story that matters.

City don't matter. At all. Irrelevant club.

That may be so, but it's not supposed to be the stance of the national broadcaster. City fans pay their license fees too

They might not have the history and profile of some other teams, but when they're standing between you and the top of the table, they're hardly irrelevant.

They are irrelevant. Regardless of where they are and what they do.

I know you're just saying this to be arsey, but just out of interest-would you describe Chelsea as irrelevant? Before Roman took over they were in a similar position to City and a big influx of money gave them a considerable measure of success. Will City still be irrelevant if they follow the same path over the next decade- or are you just getting your digs in while you can?

Whats relevant about them? All the money, a few trophies and...?

They added something new for a time but they are already becoming a distant memory.

They also make stuff up. Finances, sponsorship etc. Apparently a club with barely any fans makes more money than everyone bar United <laugh>

They are a club desperately trying to be noticed.

Chelsea were so far ahead of City they dont even compare. Chelsea were recent european cup winners (cwc), played in cup finals recently, played in Champions League and actually challenged for the league. Chelsea were closer to what Liverpool are now on the pitch than City.

And city will be a dark footnote in the games history im a matter of years. Obviously they won't go bust but back to mediocrity.

City need a full revamp. Theres 3 or 4 players worth keeping right now. Can they afford it with ffp amd their imaginary income?

For a start off they've always had a relevance, as they're a big club with a big following and they've certainly had their moments during their long history.

Their lotto win and subsequent rise to the pinnacle has obviously made you as a United fan, bitter towards their 'bought' success, but in fairness if ever a club deserved a windfall like that it was City.

    Stop talking like a **** <ok>

Not bitter at all. Its all hollow success anyway.

Out of interest, why did City deserve it? I have heard it many times but there is literally no basis for the claim.

Why not Leeds, West Ham, Villa, Everton etc? All offer more history, equal or bigger fanbases, good size stadia and in solid footballing cities.

If we are talking clubs that deserve it then there's a good few with as good if not better claim than City.

Anyway its in the past. City got rich but quickly found out you cant buy everything. Especially what they are desperate for.
