Ha. On the odd occasion they've brought a lad home, I smile, shake their hand, and look them in the eye and think, "if you hurt her, I'll fkn have you". Reminds me of my brother when Laura, my niece, brought her first boyfriend home.
He took the lad into the back room and told him that if he laid a finger on her he'd slash him and make him write a suicide note with the blood.
