...it seems the only people who would worry about these things are those who are behind in football terms. Cardiff may have a bigger stadium, bigger catchment area, bigger debt etc, but it counts for nothing because of their position in the football league.

Surely there's not a fan amongst them who hand on heart would not swap positions with the Swans sitting 8th in the PL right now ?

It wouldn't matter if they had a 60,000 seater stadium selling out every week, the fact is that they are not in the Premier League. They are not party to a global audience. The media in Wales gives them plenty of column inches and airtime, but outside of Wales nobody hears anything about them. Whilst we are playing Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal etc they are playing Rotherham, Brentford, Watford etc.

Celtic are a 'bigger club' than us, but I'd still never want to be them. They are not in the PL. Simple as that.

Their uncle may be harder than ours because he knows kick boxing, but our uncle has evolved past such neanderthal pissing contests and actually get's the things done that really matter. Walk quietly and carry a big stick.

I was really surprised, and amused, when I came across the article. I thought people had moved on,but perhaps Walesonline had some inches to fill.

You missed the hyphen out between 'football' and 'news' in the OP.

My Apple still only indicates that the link is up to the point where you inserted the hyphen. If you copy the whole web address to the clipboard, delete the current link and then paste the 'new' one back into your post, there's a fair chance it will work. I'll send you my invoice later :)

That's all the reasons I could find that Cardiff are better than us!! :)

Only a cardiff fan could come out with that logic.

I'll put it simply, we are in the premier league they are not. End of discussion ;)

The welsh rag is still smarting over us still in the premiership and guaranteed yet another season while their team did not last 5 minutes and are a shambles......It makes them feel a bit better even though its bollox....<ok> and everybody outside cardiff knows it.....

Check out each teams Twitter and Facebook accounts, Swansea have over twice the followers. It doesn't matter if people do not like technology, those two sites are the indicator for popularity in the new digital age.

Well for all your bigness Aber you not getting more bums on seats are you?

The club who is the one in the higher league wins as history is nice, but it doesn't help you win games now, it doesn't make an impact on the pitch.

There is only one Welsh club in the premier league, that tells us the pecking order right now. If it changes in future then so be it, but it's only one Welsh club on the international stage, and I'm sorry it ain't cardiff.

I agree we should just be happy with what we have. I don't agree we've forgotten where we came from. We can't stop harping on about it. We even made a film. You must have seen it?
