    Its beyond the pale for referring to Everton as a small club but ok to refer to Newcastle Utd as "a wee club from the northeast".

    Fast forward City put up a sky-blue billboard with the words "Welcome to Manchester" under a picture of their new signing, Carlos Tevez.
    Ferguson: ''"It's City isn't it? They are a small club with a small mentality...''

    Which must mean that by his own standards, Ferguson himself is arrogant?

    Benitez never actually used the words 'small club' in reference to Everton.
