Haven't had much time on the board today other than a quick burst at Stevo on my phone......

.....but here goes on this subject.
All joking aside, this is a very good move by the club with regards to next season's campaign. There's no doubt that Jones wouldn't be around for it anyway, so getting him out of the club now makes perfect sense.
The onus will be on those responsible for on-pitch policies to come up with a viable alternative up front, not just find a replacement lumping target. Revell is not the answer for me. He'll run all day and seems a genuine character, but he hasn't the physical presence of Jones and probably no more skill - all he'll bring is effort which is at least a bonus.
We really need class and pace up there and a midfield capable of providing a quick supply chain. Defensively we have the makings of a top Championship set up. Manga, Morrison and Turner are all only mid twenties and should only get better with more pitch time together.
Peltier looks the right sort at right back and Fabio could become a match winner on either side of the pitch rather than the "match loser" that Slade virtually branded him with. Malone, John and Ralls seem decent options though I'd like to see Ralls getting his chance further up the pitch.
Let's see who the summer window brings in and not worry too much about who they might hit in the revolving door on the way out.
