Whatever, my discussion with a true Utd supporter from Manchester seems to have stirred your glory hunting juices.

Maybe someone on the manc board would like to have a discussion with you, cheerio.<ok>

You made a statement. It was incorrect. Instead of admitting that you were talking out of your hole you go on the attack. Doesn't cover up the fact that you were wrong. Does make you come across as a bit unhinged though.

You are a **** stirrer and bring nothing to our board except confrontation, negativity and your self believing pomposity, you don't get involved in banter and you apparently have no sense of humour unlike Diego(and UIR)who gets involved in the rivalry between us and United in the correct way.

So find another playmate you eel eating glory hunting scrotum, bye!

See Roger Melee in a car has been sacked. They should get Russell brand to co-present it with Jonathon Ross - that'll get the Daily Mail going.

The point is all about young english talent though... This just proves it more. Young english talent aren't getting a chance because young foreign talent is being brought in to replace them.

Or they are just not good enough. Which is the reality.

No foreigners have ruined anything for the english lads. The FA and clubs have done the damage.

Rubbish acadamies, dinosaur coaches, obsession with pace and power over actual ability. All caused the problem.

Even little things like banning ball games im residential areas have helped cause these problems. All over thw world kids have a kick about in the streets. In the UK every wall, grassy area and open space is either signposted or you have to pay to use it for an hour.

    But we blame foreigners...

    Uir is right

Kids have every excuse not to be good themselves

I think personally yes you have to be really special to make it but you can only learn the special awareness and street smarts kicking about with lads twice your size

Most top players would say they played against kids much older at a young age. If you have only u12s say and one lad is 11 mo th older sure he will shine then but the kid who is just a month too old and ends up 12 aging u14 will always be weaker

If we just say oh you are too short, too weak you go stand over there we are nuts

Get your kids kicking about in the streets

  16. Spot on but its not just the no ball game signs. Parents are petrified of letting kids out the door nowadays too. My eldest is seven, at that age I'd get up, have breakfast and ****off out not returning until the street lights came on. Dinner bath bed and repeat the next day (sometimes school got inbetween too <laugh>). My boy doesn't do that, none of his friends do that. They don't even do it for half an hour. The modern day world is full of sick ****s so I wouldn't dare let him out my sight and the same goes for most parents.

Bollocks, the world has always been full of sick ****s, when we were young we played in groups and knew when to stay clear/run. I used to spend the whole six week holiday in the park or exploring our area with my mates and as you say came home for tea. Parents these days give their kids no credit for sense, kids know a bad un in the main.

Yeah, plenty of sick ****s around since Nelson had two eyes, but modern day kids aren't the same as we were in our day Diego, different priorities and less fear.

  19. I should have worded that better. The modern day world is full of sick ****s whichever way you looks, TV, Radio, Media, internet, etc, there is always a story. Whereas yesteryear things were'n't reported, people weren't caught, science wasn't as good so the sick ****s got away with things. there are no more or no less than there used to be, people are just more aware of what there actually is. Of course, you are right to say kids should have more freedom and be allowed to use their own instinct but when one in a thousand kids (even a million if you like) get caught up in something, would you be prepared to take that risk with your child? Clearly not all kids "knew a bad un" as you say, imagine how you'll feel if your child is the one! It's not about the likelihood, its about the consequence!

Because they have never been allowed to learn. same with all the allergies and sickness, we played on crofts and got **** up to the eyeballs building resistance, today everything is sanitized and germ free so no resistance is built up. Kids need freedom to become strong adults.
