Well I hope she beats off the Tories then if she is a good local MP. Unfortunately Fareham is a Tory stronghold, and although Mark Hoban is standing down, the new candidate is a Barrister from London who has just come through the 'political machine' and been given a safe seat. I think she has run in 5 constituencies in the last 10 years, from Leicester to Sussex. Nice to know it will be someone who knows the area well.
I will be giving my vote to the Greens I think. Their candidate Miles Grindey is a local lad, who is a family friend. I am holding out for a progressive left-wing government, but won't hold my breath. Obviously I want Miliband as PM over Cameron, but no point voting Labour in Fareham at all.
