Good Morning Everyone,

Just when you thought it was safe to watch Leeds again, they let you down.....

But who's to blame?

The pitch?

Were the players tired?

Was it Redders fault?

Perhaps we should blame Tom Lees?

Anyway, here are the highlights.

You must log in or register to see media

We were playing against a team that have used 51 players, most of them loaness or freebee's.

Was our performance acceptable?

With respect to the Blackpool team (and the pitch, we could (and should) have used our fringe players for this game. Players that are fighting for their shirts, in the same way Blackpool are fighting for their pride. We could have used Del Fabro, Dawson, Sloth, Phillips, Coyle, Adryan, Walters, Montenegro. The list goes on. Tell me that those players would not have been worthy a draw against Blackpool?

Morning All,

I didn't listen to the match, so cannot coment on the performance.

One performance I can comment on is that of the supposedly Leeds-supporting journalists. Why are they not closely questioning Redders about player selection? It's essential it does get pursued, for it looks to me like Redders has already decided what fringe players do not have a future, hence their non-appearance. Our journalists have become LUFC pets now, just reporting the scraps the club gives them. Time they earned their money & our respect by asking the hard questions.

End of rant & time for work. TTFN!.

Good morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey .Went on the daffodil walk on Sat but unfortunately there was no daffodils out!Another 3 weeks away!
Stayed at a lovely B'B at Hutton le Hole whilst having dinner at the Crown got talking to a couple they only went to school with me what a surprise I didnt remember them but they were a year younger and when I said my name they said they had a school photo of me at home what a small world as they now live in Malta
Hutton le Hole is where the very good player Ralph Coates ex Burnley Spurs and England player was born but no one had heard of him in the pub
If we cant beat a team put out by clueless Clark we need a new coach I totally agree the young lads should have been given a start
Going to LGI for stretching of the asphogus today so its something to look forward to will let you know how I went on

Redfearn starting to piss me really off now. He tells Southgate he has to 'manage' Mowatt and Cook and yet he plays them both before their England call ups. How about he manages them and rests them at Blackpool. Sloth, Phillips, Montenegro,Adryan all should have been capable of stepping in at the weekend against a poor Blackpool side.
We are safe now, he should be looking at the fringe players but no he is just trying to justify a contract extension. He would help himself if he showed he could manage the rest of the squad and not just the academy kids.

Morning all <ok>

Still disappointed about the draw. Had we played a team of fringe players and come away with a 1-1 it wouldn't have seemed so bad, but that was our (supposed) best 11 out there against a very very poor Blackpool side. Yes, the pitch was a nightmare and you can't really play flowing football on that mess, but it was the same for Blackpool as well, so you can only place a limited amount of blame there.
