Personally I was surprised Herrera was booked as I didn't think he came in studs up at all.
You wouldnt

True, you were shouting from the rooftops before you won.Alright calm down mate, you wouldnt see us shouting from the rooftops like this had we won![]()
When we win the top 4 trophy![]()

We'll come back when we've won 18.You'd have thought you have just beaten the most successful in Enlgish football in their own back yard the way you're going on. Whens the bus parade mate?![]()
We'll come back when we've won 18.
You cant have that, that lives at the Emirates
And you havent done anything yet. Its looking good for you though, cheats
Come back where? Go and play around your own end
BTW I wonder IF people actually appreciate just how fcking class Herrera is. Completely controlled that central midfield today. Fck me have we missed some creativity in there since Scholes left.
I thought Herrera challange was worse than it was on Gerrard when I saw in the pub, seeing it again it wasnt that bad. Gerrard ****ed our chances of a comeback up.
So like I say, with 10 men we still scored and wth 11 we'd have won, you did a great smash and grab today which you have to do away against the big clubs so fair play

It was more of an attempted block than a challenge, Gerrard had no reason to react in any way to it.

They were much better 11 on 11.
You were better off playing with ten than 11 when the 11th player is a liability like Gerrard
Just need to make sure we don't fck up against Aston Villa now. That's the complacency I worry about. I include LVG in that, as he may feel he can drop Herrera and/or Mata for this and royally fck it up. We're playing once a week, just keep the SAME starting 11.
These are two players he must not drop. Young has been one of our top performers this season but was a bit quiet today, if he feels the need to drop someone then Young deserves a rest and di Maria could play in his best position (with Young on the bench just in case).
I'd play Young against his old club, and he's been playing well at Old Trafford. Di Maria's attitude was poor today but maybe giving him the opportunity to tear Villa apart at OT may do him some good, who knows.
Fair point.
Agree about Smalling. Rojo and Jones both look dodgy as fck. He seems to have given up on McNair?
