Defenders plural surely, we're going to need at least three new CB if not four. I think it's time for both Brown and O'Shea to move on and everybody else like Vergini is on loan.

Strikers plural surely!

<doh> Damn, there's a lot of work to do isn't there!

Interesting, can deffo see virgil coming ina deal involving wingnut
If that happens, and I hope it does unless the new gaffer can get him firing on all cylinders again, then we also need at least 2 CF to replace him and DG. No idea who's out there but Michu could be a shout - did well at Swansea before he fell out of favour.

I would like us to get a left sided CB and balance that area, as well as a right sided as ours are ****.

I'd say van Dijk can be one, we should have went for Nastasic off City, too late now.

He WILL develop, I guarantee it, and he went for **** all.

In the World Cup a young centre half called John Brookes was thrown into the US team at the last minutes and was everything associated with the British game. Not cultured, but nowt got past him. Currently with Hertha Berlin but he is well worth a look and probably more suited to the prem because of the similarities with German football.

I'd think two is need too. van Dijk would do me nicely, but being a ball playing adventurous CB I think he needs to be paired with a covering stopper. Shawcross any one? Those two would do me nicely.

Would anyone leave Berlin for Sunderland tho ? :emoticon-0127-lipss

I think the only thing we don't have to replace at the minute is the ****ing stadium!

Everything and everyone else should be on e-bay!!
