David mcintrye reporting that he has spoke to Mick jones and apparently Mick couldn't stop talking about Jamie. McIntyre goes on to say that Jones said he has been back to his best after overcoming his injury. I kid you not.

    Some positive news

Jamie Mackie will surprise a lot of people in the Premier League - I am anticipating big things from him. (Although would be really nice to gather some other good performers around him...).

He was always a high-energy player and after a six month break he'll be busting a gut, lets hope he's back to his best!

Whilst extremely refreshing to hear the Mack Machine's back pumping positives, I for one am not the least bit surprised. Jamie is a hundred percenter and even after only half a season with us, has all the hallmarks of a rock solid R.

He's not the greatest ever but for honesty, commitment and diligence he'll do for me any day.

I wouldn´t be suprised if NW is grooming him to also fill in at right back as he did so well as an emergency RB last season it could even end up being his best position.

I know that sounds a little far fetched but NW does like his players to be flexible?:emoticon-0105-wink:
