Has he no shame?? He's going on about Mahrez, the Leicester player, rolling around to get Alex Bruce sent off. He said "I've got respect for Mahrez, but the way he rolled around on the pitch… that's what we've got to stamp out on. That's what incenses all of us. He was blatantly trying to get someone sent off. When you are injured, you don't roll around like that because you can't.

"The Leicester players - and unfortunately it's creeping in everywhere - they wanted to get Alex sent off. For us, we surrounded the referee because it was a perfectly good challenge."

What on earth does he say to Elmohamady? Elmo is just about the worst player I have seen for feigning injury to get players booked/sent off. He's a blatant cheat and always has been. And yet Bruce has the brass neck to go on about Mahrez. The hypocrisy from Bruce is breathtaking...but not really that surprising.

Elmo has played consistenly for 3 solid seasons, and has played 66 consecutive games. Without ANY Injury.

That's cos he jumps out of the way of every challenge and rolls around pretending he's hurt. Im sure you can see the hypocrisy of Bruce. Personally, I agree that we desperately need to get rid of this sort of cheating but Elmo would be one of the first Id highlight - and Bruce knows that.

To be fair the OP has a point. We've had some pretty unsavoury incidents this year, as well as incidents against us, and Bruce cant / shouldnt just cherry pick which ones he comments on. I'm all for protecting your players but there is a line.

Thanks for that, a bit of honesty. I hate seeing it for players for my team and am quite happy if they are booked for diving. All fans would love for something to be done about cheating but nothing happens. I've even seen cheating both diving and feigning injury at an U10's match.

Why he had to mention Mahrez I don't know but I think what he means is we have reacted due to a bad decision and it is being highlighted as surrounding the ref because of what Chelsea did against PSG. The difference is we reacted to a bad decision they 'influenced' the ref BEFORE he made his decision.

Yes Elmo does go down very easy sometimes and East stand gave him some abuse in one game (last season I think) and shouted at him to get on with it because he was moaning at the ref.

Have you no shame?

You'll find that when Elmo dives he gets plenty of **** on here from city fans.

However, your player actually gets tackled and acts like a bitch and you come on here having a go? Have a word with yourself clown shoe. A leicester player could knife somebody and you wouldnt see a flicker of criticism on your board.

Has flat head made another **** of himself yet? Usually once a week int it?

I've seen Elmo exaggerate when fouled. The difference here is that Mahrez was TACKLED.
****ing hell? What are you on about - I've seen Elmo dive is what you should say - you're basically saying what bruce is - he dives and cheats - as do others in yours, ours and many other teams but Elmohamady was untouched against us and he stayed down. He cheats. Yes I've also see him exaggerate - but he dives without contact as well so it is total hypocrisy to say he doesn;t dive.

I'm not a Leicester fan. I just couldn't believe that Bruce could say that the feigning of injury should be dealt with when I believe that Elmo is one of the worst culprit in English footy. I am genuinely delighted that your fans have a go at him for cheating. I hate to see any of the players for Sunderland dive or, even worse, feign injury. I was just commenting on the breathtaking hypocrisy of Bruce and, am again, pleased that you see that. I think we agree and I actually find your attitude quite honest and refreshing - thanks. I wish fans would make it known to the authorities or apologists like Gary Neville that we want something done about cheating cos its killing football for me. And its bringing up a generation of cheats in our kids. In my day we were told 'cheats never prosper'. For kids following football they can see that actually cheats do prosper and it is worth cheating.

I'd call you a **** but we'd probably get yourself other soft **** Leicester turd supporters who don't know or understand what an excellent tackle is surrounding the mods trying to get me banned, you ****.

Don't worry about our gaffer, that's our job. Spend some time worrying about Nige, maybe give Tony Adams a ring & reserve a bed for the mental ****. Complete breakdown is just around the corner.

Is the mike off? What a ****ing idiot, he needs to go **** himself before I strangle him, the prick.

Sorry mate I'm not a Leicester fan. I worry about your manager because he's quoted in the national newspapers complaining about cheating when his players, in particular Elmohamady, do the same and on a consistent basis. I think Pearson is a complete oaf but my post is relating to the problem of cheating and the hypocritical attitude of Steve Bruce. I think cheating is the biggest problem we have in our game and such hypocrisy from such a figure as Bruce is actually dishonest and perpetuating the problem. BTW is there a problem that other fans come on here and comment on Hull - you seemed to get a bit annoyed about it. Other fans on here seem happy to have a debate about this issue.

Because of course, there are loads of honest managers out there. Gus Poyet, Paulo Di Canio, Roy Keane...

If you can find one manager who has never ever been hypocritical, I'd be glad to hear of it. Because they don't exist.

It doesn't make it right and should be questioned. I just can't believe Bruce would be so clear in his condemnation of such antics when one of his players is one of the worst culprits - that really is high end hypocrisy. That said, Im really impressed with the response of some of your fans on here in describing the vocal criticism of Elmo when he does resort to cheating, a bit like when Eboue was booed by Arsenal fans. Also, and you'll no doubt dispute this, but Alex Ferguson used to discourage his players from diving - he had a go at Ashley Young publicly (or was that Moyes??) - Ronaldo was an awful diver but really cut it out under Ferguson. Roy Keane is another one who actually tried to cut out the diving from his players. Just because its endemic doesn't mean we accept it, as some of your fans are demonstrating. I didn't come on here to piss off Hull fans and have been encouraged by the responses of some on here.

See above. This by Bruce is an awful example and should be condemned. You come across like Gary Neville - all players dive so we just have to accept it. Very poor argument by you there, unlike some of your fellow fans. This was an extreme piece of hypocrisy hence why it pissed me off. Some managers are worse than others and should be condemned by fans. At least the fans can be honest.
